big shakeup today in the city...they took the mayor down for theft and bribery...my parents and grandparents is status right now...the pessimist side of me is not allowing me to give a damn, but I am upset they found it necessary to carry out a 4 year investigation on the brother...oh well

I tried no grease in concord mills in a jam

But I hear so many mixed things about the city.
The locals/natives hate it and say they're sick of it. I mean, I know what makes them feel that way(most ppl are like that about anywhere they've been their whole lives) so I take that with a grain of salt.
I can honestly say, though, that I've heard equally if not more positive things about it from people who love Charlotte and are living the life there.

In my experience it's not the natives who talk bad about Charlotte, it's the transplants and there are a LOT of transplants here

I feel you, I've met the locals who love their beloved "QC" and rep hard.
But whenever I've heard any bad talk about the city it came from the locals as well. The transplants seem to love it.
Then again, the transplants that I am referencing are all college age kids from small towns scattered throughout NC. Of course they'd love it. I could imagine transplants from other major cities possibly feeling over Charlotte.
