@Bryan Danielson you've lived a rich life.
Thanks for this thread.
Man I wish my pockets was a rich as the shyt I lived it witnessed in my life.
So peep this….
Na man….. my middle school was horrific.
like as 6th grader….. Nicca I was terrified early on, at some point we became numb and used to it but them first few months was scary
And it’s fukked up TP had a fence protecting them but we ain’t have nothing protecting us.
On one hand….. cuz Hanes…. Was actually called Hanes-Lawrence Middle school, cuz it was really 2 schools combined to one. And 2 buildings that had a “connection” point. Like some shyt clearly built years later.
One building was Hanes, that held like the cafe, gym, most of the classes/offices and all the 7th and 8th grade teams.
Lawrance was the building that held the 6th grade team and handicap students (back then was when we learned not to say retarded. To some of them, that was legit like saying the N- - - - a, and then cats would SNAP)
Another thing that later one was intriguing, Hanes building is legit shaped like an H and Lawrance like and L.
And in the Lawrance building, shyt was like split down the middle, the handicap side on one side, the regular 6th grade side was down the other.
Going to lunch felt like prison cuz no one wanted to look at or be touched by the “SN” (special needs for short or handicap or the R word)
Cuz they was aggressive, some disgusting, some scary looking. I remember one crossed the line and bit the titty of one of my classmates for no reason. We was more on the side where Tex Pete was at.
Then the Hanes building…. That’s another long post
