I will never forget the riots
I work Uptown and I remember everyday from work that week it was nothing but chopper in the sky hovering over Uptown.
And with so many businesses closed, shyt had me feeling like Rick the first ep of Walking Dead when he got out the hospital and was walking the streets
I lived uptown during the riots. Dude got shot, but I didn't think it was that bad. I was proud people took it to the streets.
Noble smoke is killing the game right now. I went there last Monday at 6pm and they were packed. shyt was good though.
Have any of you been to Cuzzo's Cuisine? Went this past weekend and the lobster mac and cheese is
Got the jerk wings, too, that were good also.
I ate at Noble Smoke earlier this week too. The beef brisket was dry. The pork, turkey, and ribs were good. I didn't like their sauces, but it didn't matter because everything except the beef was good without sauce.
I have eaten at Cuzzo's, but from what I can remember I didn't think the food was anything special.
The 19 sauce is the same sauce they use at Roosters. I didn't really care for it. Smoke sauce was straight. The vinegar was good on the Lexington BBQ. Ribs were probably my favorite. Did the platter. Used the smoked turkey the next day for a sandwich
Mac's has my favorite sauce of the BBQ places though.
On an unrelated note went to The whole crew is stupid comedy tour tonight at The Press Box tonight. Good times.

I’m hungry reading these. I went to Caswell for happy hour today, it was pretty good and inexpensive, great deals. I’m looking for soul food and Jamaican spots though, preferably near north Charlotte. Got any ideas?
