I might hit up that House of Soccer thing at Bearden. I don’t follow soccer like that but it’s something to do. Old girl from the Usa women’s team is supposed to be there and some panthers and hornets players. You have to register before you go

Team Trublue which is a stop the violence group around here is having a stop the violence softball game at Tuckaseegee Park and I might slide through there. Not totally sure about that yet though.

I was down there this weekend for the first time. Coming from North Jersey, the vibe is different. The corporate apartment I will be living in is in south Charlotte.

A lot of hilly roads, but it wasn't too bad. I was given a quick tour of the city, drove through downtown. Newark feels like it's a bigger city even though it's not, but I guess I'm comparing Charlotte to all of North Jersey.

The vibe is different. It's going to take a few months to get use to living there. I move down for good next week.

What happened?? It’s about to be 1000 degrees up here this weekend ..sinkholes randomly opening up all over the place, blackouts, ... no place is safe this way either. Raining and flooding so bad the week before last week, they had rescue patrol boats on the damn parkway ...
People driving in their cars thinking it’s a small patch of water in the street, turns out that a part of the road sunk and turned into a river .. wth??

I'm at Northlake Mall right now and 99 percent of the people here are Black

I don't go to the mall much and I know that Northlake is now the "Black" mall since they closed Freedom and Eastland, but I didn't know it was like this. Also the mall is kinda poppin right now even though it's about to close.
