Looks like the rain will hold off til 7. I’m going to make my way to the Epicentre in a few. Let me know if anyone else out here. Shoutout to them Charlotte meteorologists.

I’m at the no grease uptown trying to see if my barber can salvage a hairline for me. I might peek through there for a brief second.

I’ve been here almost 9 months now and as bad as I’d like to party or have little outings uptown at the epicentre, I REFUSE to pay $10+ just to friggin park somewhere just so I can go have a few drinks or hit a club. Is paying these crooked parking entities really the only option for venturing out uptown with your own vehicle? I mean I guess I could take the light rail during the early evenings but that still costs, it doesn’t really fit my “vibe” and restricts the freedom/mobility that I like to have, and it’s also useless for a club night out because it doesn’t run late enough. And don’t even suggest lyft/Uber.

^Meters are free after a certain time. Maybe 6/7? But you’ll have a little walk vs the $6/7 surface lots. My job pays for parking. And we have access to the garage 24/7 regardless of events. Definitely not worth the fee it if you dolo cuz sometimes it’s hit or miss. & you could get denied entry like me lol.

Same with Avid Exchange Music Factory. There’s a few nice spots I’d like to hit over there but every time I slide through on a Friday or Saturday night, there’s no parking. And I’m not arriving any later than 10p so it’s not like I’m getting there super late. Every lot has signs up charging some bs just to park. I refuse to pay. I don’t care how much money I’m making it’s just the principle of it all, to me.

What’s hit or miss? You mean you’ve paid for parking and then didn’t have a space? Denied entry into the epicentre? That’s impossible.

The crowd hit or miss with talent. Summer been straight though. And denied entry to the actual clubs in the Epicentre not the epicentre itself. I’ve been denied a lot. My fault though. I haven’t hit music factory cuz of Parkin though. Except for the rnb only shyt.

^I go to the library most weekends. I haven't seen any good looking women there however, I'm usually there early in the morning. I did run into a cute artsy Librarian though.

I walked around to that After 5 shyt around 6. It was dead. Had some horns on the stage, no one performing at the time. Some black people were trickling in but I dipped.

I just left that PNC pavilion show... I only went bc to support a friend of mine and her obsession with money bagg... and I get a text asking who I’m with . I hate being seen out like that

I’m looking for a meter or I’m parking on that stretch of free parking by Amelie’s and the Wells Fargo building. I refuse to pay them food all that money if I don’t have to.. I don’t mind walking at all. I’ll park at the Target in the Metro and walk to Romare Bearden. I just don’t care

When it comes to parking.... depending on where I’m headed or time of day. Since I already pay for parking with Preferred I kinda will park in my designated spot or some others. Or I find me a spot off Tryon. Y’all know them meters are free after 6pm and on weekends.
