Ggg has power for 168 tbh
and has the defense of a FRIDAY NIGHT FIGHT contestant.

I dont know why everyone so high on GGG, it hink he another LUCAS M. an overrated power puncher than is gonna get exposed very soon.

Canelo has the tools to beat GGG. I think he has good enough boxing skill to land some good shots, and is tough enough to back GGG off of him a couple of times.

Im actually one of those impressed with ggg, his style reminds me of a Chavez senior... canelo is no slouch but ggg power would be to much for him...ggg belongs at 168the even though he can make 160 with no problem

Kirkland had no business being in there last night. When he signed on the dotted line he was walking around at 200 plus pounds and that was only what...two to three months ago? He looked weight drained during the weigh in and his eyes looked like he saw cheeseburgers in the crowd. When he was warming up prior to the walkout he didn't look sharp at all. So he dropped 55-60lbs in 3 months, and hadn't fought in over a year? That's partly why I'm not a fan of GB and De La Hoya and I'm hoping his lawsuit goes nowhere against PBC. It was unscrupulous and irresirresponsible to put that event on last night and then have the nerve to suggest Kirkland is a force in the division. Even Canelo after the fight was concerned and came over to check on Kirkland cuz he knew that was fukked up. And that talk about Kirkland hooking back up with Ann Wolfe needs to stop, he needs to hang em up. His speech was slurred before this fight and you can tell he's a bit slow. Whether his slowness is the result of boxing or otherwise, needless to say getting back in the ring is not a good look for him. His people need to show some responsibility and get him a job or something. He got paid enough to buy a small house, have a good start on savings, and find employment that doesn't involve his equilibrium getting tossed in the bushes so as to keep feeding that nest egg.

HBO is really trying to make GGG vs CANELO :patrice: i wish we could get canelo/cotto first but that puerto rican chicken dont want it after what he saw last night :wow:

:dead:

Read that Cotto/Canelo already reached an agreement to fight in Sept. if Cotto gets past Gaele.

Think the info is in the random thoughts thread.

nope GGG is not impressive to me at all. i dont think he beats andy lee, peter Q, or canelo at 160.:wow:

and at 168 i would pick carl froch over him. this nikka is a classic hype job. :yeshrug:
He had trouble with Lara and trout(both fights which he should have lost)

If you pick Lee and Pete Q I'll take that bet. I'm talking real paper.

Lara didn't want it and trout just didn't do enoupg, but those were indeed close fights.

Canelo clearly has trouble with someone who sticks and moves... ggg does non of that and would be a easier fight for canelo, im just speaking on ggg style.

Whether or not Lara wanted or not he should have won. And trout did do enough. That bullshyt ass open scoring fukked up the fight(don't know why would anyone fight in Texas. They're fukking horrible).

GGG style is all wrong for canelo. Dude gasses every fight. Those body shots GGG will be landing will take effect early.

Yall are really gassed off this Kirkland Knockout... I shouldn't be surprised:heh:

it was obvious that canelo would win but that was probably the nastiest knockout i've seen since pacquio or paul:scusthov: :damn:

he looks a lot better under ann so i would have him train under her for his next fight to see how he looks and if his heart is in it or not. i am worried about his health tho because he's a dog in the ring with a weak chin and that's not a good combo. i hate seeing fighters struggle with life after retiring from taking too many punches.

I was one of the ones that believed this, but GGG has been making me eat my words each fight.

I didn't see the fight, but I saw the highlights. Like you said, Kirkland had no business in there with Canelo. I saw a video of Ann Wolfe's reaction to the outcome of the fight. She said it would've been a different fight had she been in Kirkland's corner.

He isn't a lot better with an. Dude is same. Anytime he faces anyone that could finish, he's going to get put away like that. He's been hurt 1st round and damn near every fight.

On top of that dude is punch drunk as hell:heh:
