Cause Kirkland just isn't a good fighter. He got knocked out in a tune up fight before by a guy with NO POWER! I posted this on page 13 that Kirkland was a bum with no defense

and he dispatched him like a bum. dropped him 3 times knocked him unconscious. people acting like canelo just ground out a victory by decision or some shyt :dahell:

Not impressed.. Kirkland couldn't make it out round one with guy that only had 6 knockouts.

Kirkland either needs a complete rehaul of his style of fight that will include taking much better measures to protect that egg shell attached to the bottom of his face that some refer to as his chin... or just retire before he winds up a vegetable.

Ain't no gravity suit gonna fix the type of chin problems he got :pachaha:

For Canelo, the huge money fights are obviously with Golovkin and Cotto, but before he jumps in with either, is finishing off Pacquiao a plausible option, or will they keep Pacman away from that to ensure it gives Floyd a potential money rematch at 50-0?

I honestly think there's money to be made with Pacman still, and a knockout is likely to make him look all the more impressive. Is he just too big to make that happen now?

alvarez/ggg is a huge money fight for ggg at this point. not canelo. as awesome as ggg is... he hasn't proven he can carry a ppv card yet. he doesn't even have a signature win yet.

and that's why we're gonna end up getting alvarez/cotto first. it's without question the biggest fight that can be made in boxing now that may/pac is done. all cotto has to do is win in june.

and if someone lets manny anywhere near a fight with alvarez they should be loaded into a cannon and fired at a brick wall. canelo aint a cotto-style middleweight, size-wise (that's why i think he mops cotto, btw). ur talking about someone who probly has enough power to bomb away at light heavyweight some day, against a dude who should probly be fighting at 140.

I was just wondering if Alvarez might want to stick around at a sligtly smaller weight, with the possibility of a Floyd rematch down the pipe, but maybe the best thing for him is forgetting that (since it's unlikely anyway) and focussing on Cotto/Golovkin, growing naturally and perhaps becoming the leading man in the sport. At, what, 24? He's got the potential to become *the* man if Cotto/GGG fights swing his way.
