Canelo wants to fight 3 times this year and Lara may just drop out of the Smith fight and wait for the Canelo fight.

Part of the negotiations is that Lara has to withdraw from the Smith defense. Good move, so he can have a full camp and be at his best for Canelo. Tough fight to call, cuz before I would have easily picked Lara to pick him apart. But if Angulo can get to Lara and drop him twice, I think Canelo should be able to do just as much. Great fight, and you know the undercard will be stacked
If he beats Lara convincingly and not by dodgy decision (Trout fight) then I will be officially sold on Canelo
