For the people saying "Oh alot of Boxing matches are in Saudi Arabia, Boxing is dead" are kind of full of shyt
There are Riyad Season cards this year. Ryan Garcia vs Rollie and Haney vs Jose Ramirez are rumored to be in New York City. The Canelo vs Crawford are rumored to be in Las Vegas. Not a single peep from that. And if people do talk about it, it's "Oh man, it's gonna be in a stadium, that's gonna suck"
Can't have it both ways. Somehow in the modern era, Boxing not in America = Boxing is dead
Pre-1990, it would very very normal for fighters to fight overseas
Sugar Ray Robinson fought ALOT overseas
Joe Louis fought alot overseas
Muhammad Ali fought alot overseas
Sugar Ray Leonard and Marving Hagler fought alot overseas
Shawn Porter on his podcast said he never even fought outside of America his whole career. shyt has always been odd to me. Boxing isn't "dead". It's just that most of the fans just suck
