I guess you cant really hate on dude for it. taking himself off floyd's undercard gonna lose floyd a good amount...and himself as well. that card with canelo on it woulda done massive numbers....it'll still do great without him, but with him I think it coulda got close to 2 mil. i'm pissed cause that weekend woulda been epic. but as long as he still fights trout then i'm good. plus if he beats trout a month earlier it's gonna put a lot of pressure on floyd to get that fight done.

Canelo was trying to do a boss move cuz he knew the Floyd/Ghost fight would be a lil weaker without a strong good co main event. I have no problem with that. He knows he brings a lot of fans and prolly and extra 100-300k ppv buys. I heard that him getting the Floyd fight in Sept was based off both of them winning, so I don't see how he was being a fukk nikka about it. It's similar to Oscar getting pass Sturm in order for the Hopkins fight to happen. If Ginger would have fought some scrub instead of Trout than yeah I'd be pissed too. Truth be told, he should have never waited around for Floyd from day one. His last fight was in Sept. He could have fought Trout in Dec-Feb and still got on Floyd's ppv undercard against a lesser opponent (Angulo) and still get exposure. Then go after a Floyd fight for a fall/Sept fight. He would have had 3 fights this year.
