BJS is who he is. A decent boxer with good footwork and decent pop. Although he seemed to operate on a higher level, he didn't show me anything new. nikka moved and ran a bit too much for my taste, but he soundly beat Lemieux.

GGG jabbed and punished Lemieux much worse until he bushed him. Saunders still didn't top that performance, but he looked solid.

I still think Jacobs and Andrade beat him. Big Charlo destroys him.

Oh no doubt.

Charlo jabs hard and accurate from a position that is already close to your face due to his stance, length, and height...

BJS thinks he's the euro version of sergio martinez and jabs with his hands down from his waist. He's looking to get out of way rather than commit to the jab.

If Big Charlo were to close this distance quickly using his feet to stop BJS from turning or escaping he'd jab and eventually land a big punch until it's over.

Lemieux fought underneath BJS while Charlo going to be throwing them Sagat bombs from above. Way more punch variety too with KO power on everything. BJS won't be safe.

Hurd could move up now and do better against BJS than Lemiuex did.

Hopefully we get some fights between (charlo, andrade, bjs, jacobs, murata) in 2018 to better evaluate these guys beyond styles that are tailor made for them.

That's not even a little bit true. Lomachenko gets WAY more credit from fans, and specifically Boxing media for beating Rigondeaux compared to Mayweather beating Marquez. When have you heard a Mayweather fan (who you believe knows boxing) or boxing media defend his legacy by bringing up the Marquez win? I ask, because if you posted that tweet without further explanation, I'm going to assume you agree with it.

Lomachenko beats Rigondeaux and people are making comparisons to Mayweather, Chavez, Duran etc. There's even a thread right now comparing Lomachenko to Mayweather. Mayweather beat Marquez and I don't recall anyone saying that win makes them believe he can beat Ray Robinson, Leonard, Hearns etc. Nobody on any boxing forum and no boxing journalist ever made a thread or article after the Mayweather vs Marquez fight saying, "Hmmm, Based on Mayweather's performance against Marquez, I think he can beat Sugar Ray now?" It just didn't happen.

Whether Mayweather is "TBE" or whatever is a matter of opinion, and a debate I'd rather not touch. However, I have ears, and have never heard boxing experts bring up the Marquez fight as Mayweather's #1 win when talking about his greatness.
