No doubt...i will.

I want the fight to happen next, however there are negotiations between the 2 of them needed & then the fact Joshua has to sign with a network in 2018 as well.

Both are obstacles that will have to be jumped over to make the fight. Im hoping everything goes well.....but this is Boxing. Ive seen negotiations go sour all the time & fights get pushed back constantly.

Never seen a big PPV fight of this era go smoothly & happen when it should.
is this even really a ppv fight though?

I believe everyone who says casuals at work talked about them the Wilder KO or Wilder vs Joshua but these are not how they measure interest,
as of now based on their US number, big guys or not, KO punchers or not, unification or not, nothing indicates that the fight would do good numbers on PPV
Joshua still haven't introduced himself to US audience and Wilder while did good cable numbers also isn't a PPV guy and still only a few % of the US population knows who he is (and Joshua).

Damn. Too bad you dont recognize the Regular belt as a Championship, bc Quitthysse couldve been winning his 1st belt:wow:

Instead, he'll keep getting these jokes:ahh:

everyone else will call him a world champion though :youngsabo:..and dont let kool keith give up that belt due to inactivity/being a hippy playing his wooden flute :youngsabo:

In order for them to fight, it will have to be on PPV due to the purse numbers they will both want & the fact they will (most likely) be on separate networks.

I get it but I still doubt that they will be on different networks and I think currently none of them is tied to Showtime exclusively

You really think Showtime or HBO could afford a Anthony Joshua vs Deontay Wilder fight on regular cable?

Algieri loves boxing he was even sparring w Danny during camp and didn't look bad to me :hubie:he isn't beating top guys like Pacman or Spence but the B and under nikkas are interesting match ups for him imo
I was wondering about that. He has said in the past that he really wasn't interested helping fighters with their nutrition other than Jacobs at the moment. Did you get a read on that?

Agree on competition. I don't like Algieri vs. top guys like Spence, Thurman, Crawford. But I do like him vs. B level guys. Might have to put him in vs. Broner. Wouldn't be surprised if he got that W. :lolbron:

So, Rigo had weight restrictions put on the fight huh?:mjpls:

Really not any different than the IBF's 10 lb rehydration rule (not sure what they were doing in all divisions, but it was 10 lbs for GGG at 160). 8 lbs day of for a 130 lb fighter isn't really detrimental to Loma.

Still the story is that it seemed Rigo's team was initially publicizing no weight restrictions and in fact there are.

I wouldn't know who to root for. :mjcry:

Chris is all wrong for dude, but neither would get much credit for beating the other right now. Them dudes gotta get some wins and be impressive first.

whatever chris is doing, it better lead to some activity in 2018....hes better off dropping to 140 and try to regain a belt there..that division is wide open

Yeah, I have never heard of that fight being talked about, but I would be down for it 100%. But you are right, in matchmaking they need a reason to make the fight and an end goal for at least one of the fighters and from that aspect this fight isn't a great matchup.

On who would win, actually a tough call IMO. Broner is the more naturally gifted, but he doesn't utilize his gifts and Algieri's combo of movement, length, and activity could be serious problems.
