So, if Indongo wins......you have no problem with him labeling himself #1 P4P?
Also, yall have a problem with the media proclaiming Lomachenko (who's resume > Crawford's) could be #1 p4p......but no issue with Crawford saying he would be > Andre Ward if he beats Indongo
The Ring
I never said I would blame Loma if he would say he's P4P #1, he's a top athlete and he's on the P4P top 5-6 lists, it's okay if he thinks that about HIMSELF, that's just proves he has confidence and he can say things like that...
I don't really like when other people call him P4P #1, because I think it's obvious now that Ward is that. Am I more dissatisfied when I hear that about Loma than when I hear that about Crawford? Of course cause one of them among my favs and the other one - while I don't hate him - is not. Everybody likes to read/hear when his/her favorites are praised. The point is not if it feels good or not, the point is whether I agree or not. and I don't
and yes, while Indongo didn't rule another division before, like TC and he only recently became a name, if he beats Crawford and becomes an undisputed champ I won't have problem with him calling himself P4P #1 even if I don't agree. If you set up a "who is the most dominant in his division, who has the most belts" criteria then the winner of that fight can be P4P top 1. I don't think that's the right criteria, I'm just saying there's an approach...
With that said being undisputed is god damn impressive no matter what so while the winner of that fight won't be P4P top 1 I will still rank him high, I don't know exactly where I don't have a detailed P4P list at the moment I'm more into divisional rankings cause it's easier.
