I feel like bread be lowkey be trying to insinuate that the Charlo bros be doping even tho he never outright says it. I dne seen about 3 mailbags that when somebody bring it up he Dnt accuse them but he basically say no comment but he post the question regardless. I feel like he just salty his boy got slumped but that's my personal opinion.
I think you're 100% accurate especially the last sentence.

Brook-Spence draw 291,000 on Showtime Boxing
May 31, 2017

Showtime Boxing drew 291,000 viewers on Saturday night for the fight between Kell Brook and Errol Spence, Jr.

The event took place from Bramall Lane Football Ground in Sheffield, England. Spence stopped Brook in the10th round and established himself as one of the next great boxers in the sport.

The fight drew 291,000 viewers and 0.11 in the A18-49 demo. The ratings reflect the 46 minutes in which the main event took place. The post-fight drew 207,000 viewers and 0.08 in the A18-49 demo. The pre-fight, which included the walk outs, drew 155,000 subscribers of the premium network and 0.05 in the A18-49 demo.

The event was also on Sky Sports. No word on those ratings yet although you might expect them to be higher.

H/t: ShowBuzz Daily

Payout Perspective:

The live event took place on Saturday afternoon (2:15PT/5:515ET) which can account for the lower-than norm ratings. Couple that with the fact that this happened on Memorial Day weekend and we have a sub-300K viewed fight which really should have been much more considering the talent involved.

I got my receipts que'd up:birdman:

Any one of you GGG defenders have something else to say about GGG/Lemieux?:mjpls:

There's a lot of posts in there which are back up my points about the pre-fight hype not = the actual fight itself. I'll drop one real quick, and keep the rest in the holster ready to pick and drop in a moments notice like:

:smugbiden:

^^^Guaranteed action due to probably the 2 biggest punchers at 160?:jbhmm:

Was that fight an action filled fight that you watched between GGG/Lemieux on PPV @GREENandYELLOW?:sas1:
Again pre fight and post fight are two different things, maybe we are miscommunicating on that.

Sure, like 99% of people I thought GGG-Lemieux would be a great fight. Their styles would lend towards that being the most likely possibility. But as far as I can remember I didn't hype the fight afterwards like it was anything more than what we got. We got GGG fighting smart using his jab and Lemieux not being able to break something that a more skilled fighter should be able to do.

Again, the talk before the fight is hype and obviously speculation. I thought Canelo was going to kick JCC's ass, but I also thought JCC would stand in and fight and give us an entertaining fight. I would obviously be wrong on that as well. That was my point. As fans we all get excited by certain matchups or how we think they will play out. To me to put that on GGG-Lemieux or Canelo-JCC was certainly fair. It wasn't false advertisement to think there could be intense action. But as I said, fights often turn out different and there are no guarantees. I have always thought boxing may be the riskiest ticket to buy, because there could be such a variety in action.

When I may "hype" a fight, it is based off my own biases or thoughts, I don't care what the fighters said. I have learned from Floyd in saying he is going to open up offensive and seeing Floyd stans believe it, only to get the same defensive minded Floyd. That is why I rolled my eyes at the Abel Sanchez hype of GGG-Jacobs, because I knew that GGG wasn't going to fight like would vs. a Kell Brook. Love him or hate him, GGG isn't a fool and isn't going to leave very himself as open when he fights guys like Stevens, Lemieux, and Jacobs who all have excellent power.

I am not trying to cape and say you should have felt entertained. I enjoyed the fight because I like GGG. But as @LauderdaleBoss said, it wasn't a great fight and I could see why a someone would find that fight meh. Fair enough.

I also have been open in saying I expect Canelo-GGG to start slow and be more tactical with things opening up more as the fight goes on, but the media will hype it as Mexican Style and guaranteed FOTY candidate before it happens. If it does happen to be a war, then I guess I am wrong and I can get quoted again. But as usual, going off my opinion of how I think things will play out, not trying to piggy back on someone else.
