the thing is, cotto has been begging for that canelo rematch for a while. but canelo keeps brushing him off. probably because he acted like a diva throughout negotiations. I think cotto knows if he does get a canelo rematch it's gonna have to be at 160 and he's gonna have to beat a live body there first. lemiuex is the best option. especially considering lemiuex is probably next in line for canelo after little g. cotto beat lemiuex, he's gonna put himself in great position to fight canelo again. cotto wants one more huge payday before he hangs it up and canelo is the only guy who can really give it to him. lemiuex is a VERY winnable fight for cotto. his jab and movement would be too much for david who's a one trick pony.
