ibf title wont be online for Julius fight I think.

dude should just move up now.

if pac would have stopped fukking around we would have found out about craw chin at 147. I don't understand how craw draw becomes a question for the top name fighters but when they ready to fight jeff horn no name type dudes all of a sudden the draw doesn't matter. its plain duck bullshyt.

If Crawford gets that Pacquiao fight, he KOs him and immediately becomes a "Superstar" imo

IDGAF what anyone says and I like Thurman A LOT..but something about his power didn't translate well to me when his opponent talent went up. Outside of Quintana who was washed who was his last legit stoppage? Always thought One Time was a terrible nickname....he's a boxer puncher not a KO artist.

Bundu: I Favor Thurman To Beat Spence - He's Faster, Hits Harder - Boxing News

“Although Spence knocked me out and I went twelve rounds with Thurman, I think Thurman is the bigger puncher. Spence is heavy-handed but Thurman has that snap. Clearly Spence can turn your lights out if he lands clean. But I felt shockwaves through my arms whenever I blocked Thurman’s punches. He’s definitely got more snap on his shots

Thurman has hurt everyone he's been in the ring with & these 3 all said his power is the real deal.

Is there any resonable evidence that suggests Keith Thurman has more punching power and or is stronger than Kell Brook?

I really wouldve preferred Stevenson/Dawson 2 over Stevenson/Fonfara 2:wow:
Now you see it.. the big picture...they didn't want Bad Chad to return the favor on a less than hungry older superman...so they screwed him out of the win against "the heartbreak pole" (pause:dame:) Andrej Michaels..knowledge has been born

Outside of Quintana who was washed who was his last legit stoppage? Always thought One Time was a terrible nickname....he's a boxer puncher not a KO artist. Not a Broner fan but he's got more power than Thurman.

there are 2 different types of punching power breh

the sharpshooter, explosive type of power, usually these are the guys who possess one punch KO power but they usually not pressure fighters but rather boxer-punchers, ambush fighters, idk... more rangy fighters. They gain their punching power from their motion and speed and their punches are sharp. However these fighters often just throw one-twos and then jump out so the opponent has more time to back down and recover. These are usually not the fighters you see just walk down thier opponent ad beat him up with accumulation on the ropes.

Thurman is this type of fighter, he punches strong as fukk when he can gain leverage on his punches but he isn't the type of heavy handed pressure fighter who just gonna walk you down and beat you up, up close, on the ropes, etc... with accumulation. As Thurman's opponent's went up in quality they more and more could absorb those 1-2 sharp power punches and could step back and survive cause Thurman didn't walk them down. You could see how he almost KO Guerrero but after that Guerrero went up close and was more comfortable there. Thurman isn't the guy who's gonna KO your ass in a phone booth war, he is the most dangerous when you're mid range/far from him and he has space to jump at you.

The other type of power are the guys with simply heavy hands and thudding power. They usually destroy their opponents with accumulation of shots, they are usually pressure fighters. Their punches can snap too but generally they rather work mid range or up close with short hooks, uppercuts, etc... than jumping in with straights or wide shots like the first category.

some fighters from the sharpshooter, ambush type: Thurman, Haye, Stevenson, Wilder, Rigo

to the heavy handed type: Joshua, Spence, Golovkin, Gassiev, Matthysse, Beterbiev

based on what I saw....he might have a slight edge in power to kell... kell hurt porter maybe one time....keith hurt him about 2 times.

on the inside/holding kell handled porter way better.

spence stopped bundu before keith and bundu said keith got more power. kell just did the same thing with ggg/spence comparison. so u never know how a fighter will describe the power.

see power is nothing big if u cant set it up right with the opponent not seeing it.

Broner also dropped Porter.

I'm just trying to see cause people seem to think that's what's gonna keep Spence from pressing Keith for 12 rounds and I don't see it, the way he was eating Brooks best punches. I don't believe anyone at 47 will keep Spence off them. Something that will just be argued until we see them in the ring.

That's what I was eluding to he's a boxer puncher...he's a phenomenal athlete and man his footwork his damn impressive.

if u hit spence with something good to buzz him,he will move around the ring a lil more. he did that in the 7th rd but he still won that rd...so it not like he cant fight moving.

but in the 8th rd he went right back at brook with the pressure.....so to keep spence off him hes gonna really have hurt bad...maybe drop him if not spence just gonna start coming in digging to the body again like he did kell.
