Me too. I want Thurman to win and at this point Spence needs to show us more to prove he is able to beat that level of opposition. In all honesty if Spence realizes most of his potential, I think he gives us #Thurminators that L. Pains me to say it, but just being real. I wouldn't say that about anyone who I didn't respect the talent as much as I do Spence. Didn't have those thoughts at all vs. Porter or Garcia. I knew Thurman would walk out of the ring victorious.I'm not counting out Thurman against Spence yet.
I'm biased doe![]()
We can thank @Yuzo for bringing up the glove shytMe and @krackdagawd been sayin this too. He does testing for brook all of a sudden dudes body lookinAt the weigh in. All of a sudden his punches can't knock down a welterweight.
Ever since that pic of his gloves I been suspicious of dude. Rosado hinted at it too.

Errol going to start his reign at 147.
Hate that I think he beats Thurman.

Alexander Povetkin's Next Opponent Nearly Locked in For July 1
By Vadim Pushkin
Olympic gold medal winner Alexander Povetkin (30-1, 22 KOs) is moving forward with his planned return on July 1 in Moscow.
Povetkin is under suspension by the World Boxing Council for failing a pre-fight drug test in connection to last December's planned WBC final eliminator with Bermane Stiverne. After the positive test was revealed, the WBC withdrew their sanction of the fight and Stiverne left Russia to head home.
It was the second failed test for Povetkin in 2016, after testing positive for a scheduled May fight with WBC champion Deontay Wilder. Povetkin tested positive for recently banned substance meldonium and the fight was canceled days later.

Povetkin feels ready to enter the ring against anyone.
"I do not care with who I fight with," Povetkin told Azamat Bostanov. "I'm sure my team will pick me a good interesting opponent, with whom we will have a spectacular fight. My job is to train and show good boxing ability. I'm ready to fight against any opponent."
His promoter, Andrei Ryabinsky of World of Boxing, is in talks with several candidates.
"At the present there are no contracts signed with anyone, so I can not say that we picked an opponent for Alexander. We are in negotiations and if all goes well, then in the middle of May we will sign a formal agreement with a potential opponent. We are considering a number of different opponents. With confidence I can say only one thing - Povetkin come out to the ring on July 1, 2017. And against who - I will explain that part later," Ryabinsky said.
Povetkin is appealing the WBC's decision to suspend him. Several other sanctioning bodies, like the IBF, WBA and WBO, have followed the WBC's lead and will not allow the boxer to enter their rankings until he sorts out his issues with the World Boxing Council.

I definitely think the argument of resumes leans towards Brook and it isn't like Brook is a pushover. He gives everyone a tough fight. So I can't disagree.i have brook as the favorite over spence..slight favorite only because of the orbital injury and the fact it is his first back from it..spence hasn't beaten anyone to make me put him over brook
Spence is the slight favorite but it's as close as a boxing fight can get on betting sites.I definitely think the argument of resumes leans towards Brook and it isn't like Brook is a pushover. He gives everyone a tough fight. So I can't disagree.
This is one of those cases where Errol has a higher ceiling IMO, but unproven. I think he starts to prove it vs. Brook.
Who is the betting favorite?
Exclusive: IBF consider Matchroom exception request for Joshua v Klitschko II, await Pulev reply
WBN have been informed a request has been made for Anthony Joshua to keep his IBF heavyweight title for another fight with Wladimir Klitschko.
As promoter Eddie Hearn revealed this week, Klitschko is set to invoke a rematch clause with Joshua following an eleventh round stoppage at the hands of the Briton at Wembley Stadium last month.
It had been thought the IBF would move to strip Joshua for not facing mandatory challenger Kubrat Pulev immediately, although Matchroom Boxing have asked the International Boxing Federation to reconsider any decision.
"Last Thursday (May 11th), the IBF received an exception request from Matchroom on behalf of Anthony Joshua," IBF President Darryl Peoples exclusively told World Boxing News.
"I'm expecting a reply from Sauerland on behalf of Pulev either today or early tomorrow. The Board will consider the exception request during the convention next week and determine what actions the IBF will take.
"The Board will consider the exception request during the convention next week and determine what actions the IBF will take as soon as a decision has been made."
People's words may strike a hard cord with ex-king Tyson Fury who was stripped just days after beating Klitschko back in November 2015 for not facing Vyacheslav Glazkov, a move which inadvertently benefitted Joshua.
As Sauerland are known to have a close relationship with Hearn and Matchroom, a step-aside - possibly involving an undercard spot for Pulev, may well be forthcoming - leaving Joshua with all his title belts intact.
Joshua is set to battle Klitschko in the final two months of this year, and with Pulev waiting in the wings, could now have his next two opponents pencilled in.
That's likely to be yet another blow for Fury as the knock on effect would be a further delay to a potential encounter with Joshua in April of 2018.
Frank Warren has already revealed this week that he sees Fury returning to action by the end of the year, dependent on the outcome of an imminent British Boxing Board of Control hearing.

They need to put unifications before mandatories every timeExclusive: IBF consider Matchroom exception request for Joshua v Klitschko II, await Pulev reply
if the ibf let josh pay pulev step aside money and keep ibf belt also. then I don't see why they don't consider doing the same for Julius indongo to face Crawford instead of lipnets for a complete undisputed unification.
ibf needs to stay consistent...plus they didn't give fury all this leeway either when he had the belts.......![]()
