Paulie Malignaggi would make a great trainer imo. He got the most out of his talent, more than anyone in recent years imo, bc homie couldn't punch for nothing and still became a 2x Champion:wow:

Paulie got the most out of his promoters and from being a cac.

If he would have gotten the most out of his talent, his defense would have been a lot better than it was.

2x Championships is more than 90% of Boxers have won today breh.....and he did it with mush in his gloves.

Im sorry, but the fact his power is null & void, that means everything he did was off of nothing but talent, skill, and grit.

His power bailing him out was basically out of the question. Over the last 13 years, he's only stopped 2 opponents.

You can say his defense, but again, at the end of the day, his defense was good enough for him to become a 2x Champion with no power......so what does that say for the guys who have defense, power, skill, but still cant reach Champion status:hubie:

I respectfully disagree with you fam.

Paulie hasn't had the hardest road to championship belts. A guy like Rocky Juarez who actually had the power to bail himself out (which it did sometimes) had much harder title fight opportunities .
Prime Soto, MAB, JMM, Chris John 2x. Every person Rocky fought for a belt was always better than him and he couldn't catch a break in at least 2 of them if we talking decisions.

compared to Cotto, Lovemore Ndou, Khan, and Senchenko for Paulie. Ndou and Senchenko were at least on the same level as Paulie. Paulie fought some beasts, but he also got the chance to fight for a title against nikkas that were average at best. Some boxers never get that type of break, plus multiple televised fights.

Some boxers just get better career looks than others do. Paulie still had to go out and rumble, but he definitely got some good looks.

I was talking to a coworker today about Joshua-Wilder.

Typically, you should let a fight like this build up, but this is sort of the exception for me. I would like to see both of these guys fight each other asap. Maybe it's my lack of confidence in both guys, but it's my fear that if they try to build it up, one of these guys could get knocked out in an upset. This is a wide open heavyweight division. Both guys are learning on the job. I don't think there is anyone so far ahead of the pack that this scenario is out of the question.

I'll admit if Wilder took Parker's strap, it makes the fight even bigger, but fukk it. Creating hype for this fight shouldn't be difficult from a promoter's standpoint.
