this is what im talking about earlier this morning with these heavyweights..parker replacement opponent :snoop:

The 6-feet-7½ Cojanu (16-2, 9 KOs), who was one of Parker’s sparring partners for the Fury fight, got knocked out in the second round by Donovan Dennis (12-3, 10 KOs) two years ago as part of ESPN’s Boxcino tournament in Bethlehem, Pennsylvania. The Burbank, California, resident is 3-0 since then, but beat journeyman Grover Young (12-22-3, 8 KOs) only by split decision in their six-rounder in January 2016.

Cojanu, 30, also lost his pro debut by majority decision to Mexico’s Alvaro Morales, who entered their March 2011 bout in Las Vegas with a 5-9-5 record.

What Jacobs vs Golovkin has to do with him losing to Charlo though...
that's dumb :yeshrug:

it was just a play on words that the person flipped back.

Jrock basically said he don't care about the judges, weight, etc, and that Jacobs won.....even though he got dropped and it was a close either guy could win type of fight.

The person pretty much replied that he still thought Jrock won his last fight. He don't care about the knockdowns because they were slips, and he don't care what the video tape says.

Basically disregarding all the facts from the Jrock/Charlo fight to say Jrock won since Jrock is disregarding all the facts from the GGG/Jacobs fight to say Jacobs won.

I get it but the analogy isn't good
One can legit argue that Jacobs won that fight many observers saw that way so it's not the same as getting KOd like Jrock did
whatever though

In Track & Field news....

Erislandy Lara Says Demetrius Andrade Priced Himself Out

By Elisinio Castillo

According to WBA, IBO junior middleweight champion Erislandy Lara (24-2-2, 14 KOs), he was looking forward to facing Olympian Demetrius Andrade (24-0, 16 KOs), but claims the fight fell apart over money.

Andrade captured the WBA's "regular" version of the world title when he traveled to Germany last month to win a twelve round decision over Jack Culcay.

Lara hit the ring back in January and scored an easy knockout victory over Yuri Foreman.

Lara has two more dates that were promised to him in 2017. One of those fights is being positioned to take place in the month of June. The boxer recently spent some time in Miami and is now back in training. He wants at least of those fights to be a unification or against someone of value.

"God willing I will be back in the ring in late June. My manager Luis DeCubas Jr. and Al Haymon called me and told me to start training. I only came to Miami to solve some personal problems, but I'm already in camp," Lara told George Ebro.

Lara says his opponent of choice was Andrade, who is also a former WBO champion. He says Andrade overpriced himself. If Lara is unable to get in the ring with Andrade, then he wants to have a unification with newly crowned IBF champion Jarrett Hurd, who is also handled by Al Haymon.

"I'd like to face Demetrius Andrade, who talks too much. But to tell you the truth, at the moment he doesn't want to face me. He is asking for a lot of money, an amount of money that he does not deserve. If we finally don't reach any type of agreement with Andrade, then we will be looking at Jarrett Hurd, the International Boxing Federation champion. I still have two more fights left in 2017. One of them will be against someone important," Lara said.

Ironically, I seen a twitter back and forth where someone from Lara's camp claimed Andrade was pricing himself out, by no numbers were revealed.....and the member of Lara's team claimed they preferred Hurd 1st:jbhmm:

It's about time I interject in this convo:sas2:
