:ohhh:.................:mjlol:

how ggg stans gonna defend this?

They share the same fukking fanbase

Mayweather vs Cotto Split $40 Milly....

$32 - Floyd
$8 - Cotto

They did 1.5 Milly ppv...had Floyd Stans, Floyd haters, PR Stans, Mexican Stans all buying the ppv

Let's say they split that same $40 million

Canelo $25
GGG $15

Why tf would Canelo do that :mindblown:.... Then you add the fact Canelo GGG ain't doing no muhfukking 1.5 million in 2017 ... There's not enough casuals N its only the Mexican stans buying that

Basically GGG is saying his draw is > then Cotto was for the Floyd fight :shedead:

Nah. It is all about finances. With what GGG and Jacobs are looking to make, I would have to guess the break even would be 150k to 200k...and I would expect sales to be around there.

And people need to do the economics on the GGG-Canelo fight. @Newzz and I have gone over it a lot in the past. Sure $15 milly sounds like a lot, because it is. But when you do the math for GGG-Canelo, I broke it out and with a 2/3 to 1/3 split, based off of conservative estimates from what the media believes the fight will do, GGG would make over $15 million.

Is what it is. People like criticizing GGG, so they expect him to take the first offer that sounds good to the public. Pacquiao was being criticized for turning down $40 million to Floyd and that would have been a career high purse. Turns out Pacquiao was the one who was right.

And to be fair in big fights, I prefer the percentage split over flat fee way to finance a fight. Get paid based on the revenue the fight actually brings in. That way fighters get paid what they fairly deserve. If the fight does well, the promoters have to share more of the wealth, if the fight doesn't do well, than the fighters got a fair payday based on their earning potential.

If the fight was worth less than $15 million to GB than they would be happy to do a split. :sas2: That is the most obvious giveaway. Y'all really think GB is doing GGG a favor and overpaying him with that $15 milly. :mjlol:

What are these conservative estimates breh??

I jus broke it down
2012 >2017 as far as ppv buys will go
Floyds draw > Canelos draw
Cotto draw > GGG draw
Canelo/Shane undercard > Chocolatito

Floyd got $32 plus ppv
Cotto got $8 plus ppv

Cotto didn't get no extra $7 Milly in ppv revenue :mjlol:

Canelo ain't making what Floyd made...but GGG should make more then Cotto :stopitslime:

This fight ain't doing 1.5 Milly PPV.... Turning down $15 million is fukking absurd

- Stiverne vs. Povetkin will not be on US TV.
of course not

- Hopkins by decision.
- Believes that Hopkins will officially retire for good after this fight.
man generic joe has that look in his eye..i really hope bhop doesnt get knocked around

- The Lebedev vs. Gassiev title nonsense was pure WBA corruption.
lebedev should have both belts gone

- If Haye is on his game he should easily beat Bellow.
bellew overachieved but theres no way he should beat haye

- Broner vs. Granados likely will either be in Cincinnati or DC.
DC and it will be lit..they pair with gary russ fight and i think i might need to be there :patrice:

- Matthysse is supposed to be back potentially in March.
hopefully focused and ready to make another run

- Cotto vs. Kirkland is not a bad fight, just bad as a PPV.
its a bad fight period..kirkland needs a soft touch..esp since being away so damn long and have no wins in about 3 years

- Lomachenko vs. Salido is being discussed. Salido doesn't have a better option financially, Lomachenko wants it, and HBO is willing to put it on.
whatever needs to be done so salido can get paid and beat somebodys ass again :manny:

- Chisora vs. Whyte was one of the best HW fights in a long time.
agreed..never would have thought those 2 would put on a FOTY candidate..thats boxing

Khan a known liar... saying he was 187 was just a made up excuse.. of course khan cant prove any of this lol

If anyone knows how heavy Canelo was in the ring, its Khan, especially since Khan got hit on the chin like one of those game machines at a Chuck E Cheese that tells you the pressure of the hit. That boy calculated that mass x force in that sleep.
