Beterbiev is hard as fukk, but I think Ward could solve him.
Only difference that while he had to get on the inside with Kovalev he probably shouldn't do that with Beterbeast. On the other hand I see him outboxing him from the outside easier tha Kovalev. Beterbiev is less rangy ad his handspeed is probably not as fast as Kovalev's. Beterbiev is more of a traditional pressure fighter than Kovalev.
He is strong as fukk and good on the inside though so Ward would have to avoid inside fighting with him.
I think the fight would look a little like Abraham vs Ward with Ward winning with keeping it safe from the outside


ps: I still don't see anything in Gvozdyk, Beterbiev would murk him...
Gvozdyk supposed to be a counter puncher but he is way too rigid and robotic plus he is slow...

Beterbiev can cut the ring off very well though, something that Kovalev can't. He also goes to the body more where as Kovalev likes to go head hunting most of the time.

But you're right, Ward would box from the outside and win. Beterbiev is lacking in the handspeed department, and also lacks head movement so he'd be right there all night for SOG. Still with all that power, BeterBeast would definitely have a punchers chance.

I mean #BeterBeast is an EE so he can't fight on the inside. His power in both hands is better than Kov's in either hand so, that one would be real interesting.

He'd take about 150 jabs/hooks to the head and stomach, before he's able to land seriously clean IMO.

Beterbiev in 2017 is a scary sight indeed... I doubt he gets a title shot next year, but I hope he stays active and hopefully lands a good fight

thats the thing, it only looks ridiculous because of roc nation's stupid contract (and smart for ward) inflating what ward gets. while in reality without the inflated contract ward wouldve made like 2 mill less

so i dont know exactly what there is to negotiate, because it would be a negotiation out of spite solely trying to fukk kovalev. all the while the rematch in the contract is already set.

so it's just trying to stir up trouble in order to duck

And probably the smaller things like gloves, wrap, size of ring etc. Ward always been a diva to negotiate with (all of Roc Nation is, I'm surprised JMM isn't signed to them), oh yeah he's probably gonna want a ref more 'known' for taking away points for holding.


In no way shape form or fashion will Ward duck the re match, he literally cant. Unless he vacates.
