SuikodenII
Where's Suikoden VI??????
Could've went either way
I'm guessing it has to do with PPV money. And probably the smaller things like gloves, wrap, size of ring etc. Ward always been a diva to negotiate with (all of Roc Nation is, I'm surprised JMM isn't signed to them), oh yeah he's probably gonna want a ref more 'known' for taking away points for holding.Ward made $5 Milly
Kovalev (champ) $2 Milly
How much less do they expect Kovalev to take??![]()
TBF King Kong a big ass motherfukker and the reason he didn't KO Scott is because Scott was running from him. I think Hearn having Ortiz fight as much as possible until he gets back in the groove is a good idea. Plus, Hearn's gotta make back that $1MM he paid Oscar, and whatever salary he's paying Ortiz now (I imagine over $100k a month including training expenses).Fighting a steady diet of cans is pretty much par for the course for top heavyweights in this era.![]()
I can't see any of those dudes besides Barrera fighting #BeterBeast.Beterbiev is number 2. Skoglund is 3. Beterbiev's manager believes Skoglund will pass, so down the line until the first person accepts:
1 Andre Ward
2 Artur Beterbiev
3 Erik Skoglund
4 Sean Monaghan
5 Enrico Kolling
6 Marcus Browne
7 Igor Mikhalkin
8 Vyacheslav Shabransky
9 Sullivan Barrera
10 Oleksandr Gvozdyk
I can't see any of those dudes besides Barrera fighting #BeterBeast.
Gvozdyk maybe, but he won't want to lose that 0
Beterbiev is hard as fukk, but I think Ward could solve him.
Only difference that while he had to get on the inside with Kovalev he probably shouldn't do that with Beterbeast. On the other hand I see him outboxing him from the outside easier tha Kovalev. Beterbiev is less rangy ad his handspeed is probably not as fast as Kovalev's. Beterbiev is more of a traditional pressure fighter than Kovalev.
He is strong as fukk and good on the inside though so Ward would have to avoid inside fighting with him.
I think the fight would look a little like Abraham vs Ward with Ward winning with keeping it safe from the outside
ps: I still don't see anything in Gvozdyk, Beterbiev would murk him...
Gvozdyk supposed to be a counter puncher but he is way too rigid and robotic plus he is slow...

I agree with everything you said breh. But after seeing the Kovalev fight, I think #BeterBeasts chances against Ward go up big time. Strictly due to the power.
"I think a rematch is something that can definitely take place. I'm not going to negotiate that right now. That's why you have a tremendous team. While I'm resting and recuperating and enjoying my family right now, my manager James Prince and my lawyer Josh Dubin - my team is already putting things in place," Ward told TMZ Sports. "But one thing that the Kovalev team has to understand, the negotiations are going to be different now. We're negotiating from a place of strength. I'm the champion and he's the challenger now. If everybody can come to the table with that understanding, something can get done for sure." - See more at: Ward: Kovalev's Team Must Realize Rematch Talks Will Be Different - Boxing News
