If you gonna really let an AB & Swift stan make Crawford's thread...then you gonna have to roll with whatever creative thread title and OP that he makes:youngsabo:

well that's the thing we not in charge/...pat is.

usually @yawn does a funny cool title for us.

yep..but Floyd would have to fight right opponent too...berto ppv aint do to hot for his standards.lol
True story.

Floyd would have to come back and fight winner of Swift/Thurman or fukking GGG himself in order to make a bigger fight than GGG/Canelo

I think Floyd/Crawford/Broner would be dope too, but those 2 would really need a good momentum win to make it bigger. Swift/Thurman is the perfect spring board fight to Floyd. Unless Crawford and Broner fought each other.

Yall think floyd vs garcia/thurman would do more than canelo/ggg?

maybe.

thurman and Garcia bring in good tv numbers but are not really ppv stars per say just like ggg.

lot of advanced casuals think thurman can ko may. and Garcia got the rican backing. any fight people think may got a chance at losing does well ..but they its gotta be a credible opponent with good ethnic group support.

plus if they promote it right with maybe may attending the fight and getting in the ring with winner afterwards, press tour n shyt...etc

plus u got the storyline of being the first guy to hit 50-0 too.

I don't think Garcia-Thurman does better than Canelo-GGG. Not even close. Canelo could do more on a PPV than both Garcia-Thurman together. Add in I think one of, and maybe the only fight not involving Mayweather & Pacquiao, that the casuals know IMO is Canelo-GGG.
:manny:

To add with what @LauderdaleBoss was saying, I think Pacquiao has some fights that can do really well on PPV...I just don't think they'll happen. Possible fights to make and/or rumored that would make Pacquiao PPV relevant again: Garcia, Broner, Cotto, JMM, and Canelo...maybe Thurman. If it isn't one of those names, I think Pacquiao's PPV numbers will struggle because the casuals aren't as interested in him anymore.

He was asking does Floyd vs Garcia/Thurman do more than Canelo/GGG....and I think so.

Floyd is MUCH bigger than Canelo. He did 550k vs Berto in a fight where everyone was on board with Berto losing clearly beforehand, and who has no fanbase to speak of:wow:

Floyd vs Thurman or Garcia (whoever wins)? I think does at least a milli or close to it:manny:

Canelo/khan did close to 600k and that was a mismatch as well
