Why all the hate for Guerrero? I don't see a better possible opponent for Floyd, unless he wants to fight Martinez. Khan is a joke. Bradley is a damn joke too. Broner/Floyd could be great, but I doubt either will be down for black on black crime. Golden Boy is still protecting Canelo. Who else would be better? JMM? Brandon Rios?So who is Floyd's next opponent? I thought he was gonna announce it this week?

It's not that Guerrero is bad, but I can't see him standing a chance against Floyd. It will be a bad fight.

I know they're not in the same weight class. I'm trying to think outside the box, because there isn't much in the way of a big fight for Floyd. Also, Broner is a big lightweight and won't be there very long. He came in at 140 on fight night against Demarco, so he could definitely be at 147 for a Floyd fight. But on the outside chance the fight ever happens, it definitely wouldn't be Floyd's next fight. It would be something down the line. It's really deflating that Pac isn't worthy anymore and Sergio Martinez isn't even being considered.It's not that Guerrero is bad, but I can't see him standing a chance against Floyd. It will be a bad fight.

And as for Guerrero, who COULD stand a chance against Floyd? That's partly my point. Outside of a young fighter 2 divisions below him and a nearly 40 yr old fighter that outweighs him and just had knee surgery, there aren't any fighters that provide Floyd with an actual challenge in the ring.
I think Guerrero provides the best style, chin, and size to challenge Floyd at the moment. He could try to smother him the way DLH did and make it interesting.
