Paul Smith and Andre Ward BOTH made their debuts at Light Heavyweight against each other.....& his "2 L streak" your speaking of was him having his last 2 fights fighting for the WBO Super Middleweight Championship:ufdup:

That bum Mexican who's own father calls an embarrassment is attempting to drag up 2 washed up fighters who aren't ranked anywhere in the world at Middleweight, to a brand new weight class they've never fought in, because he got KTFO when he fought someone his own size, so he's running back down to Super Middleweight to attempt to get a win against 2 guys who are much smaller than him:camby:

Im not surprised you're defending this anyways...you have a precedent for :cape: for larger fighters dragging up unranked fighters from the division beneath them in order to try and secure a W:mjlol:

All that "bu bu bu bu but"

Was Paul Smith "Top 15" tho?? :russ: thats YOUR rule not mine :dead:

I'm keeping it 100 Injured inactive fighters are babied...why is this even a debate :rudy:

You think ima see beterbievs next opp or Mikey Garcia next opp N whine about it?? :heh:

YOU made up another one of your Rules tho...so next Time a fighter is inactive N injured he HAS to fight a top 15 fighter at his weight class upon his return... if not I expect you to be outraged N provide us with a long list of fighters he should be fighting like you did today :salute:

I agree but.........I don't think Thurman has stayed sharp during this extensive lay off. Porter is a good boxer with + intangibles. Good stamina, endurance, finds a way to win etc. Thurmans never really been in a hard fight and with all his ring rust I think it's gonna end up fukking him. Porter should be focusing exclusively on the area Collazo hit Keith with the shotgun blast.

I definitely agree with you; especially on the ring rust. But what makes me hesitant is Broner dropped Porter with a lead left hook & had him visibly hurt. That has to give Thurman confidence in his power knowing he hits harder than AB & is moves his hands way more. This fight can play out a few ways & I could see Porter walking into a big counter

I never said he HAS to face someone in the Top 15 at his weight, you said that.

What I said was the fact them 2 washed up fighters aren't even ranked top 15 of their OWN weight division (160), but are still being brought up to 168 to face a 175er who couldn't cut it at Light Heavyweight is bogus and shouldn't be condoned.

Why couldn't he find he legit Top 15 opponent at Middleweight to bring up or at LEAST an opponent ranked in the Top 25-30 at Super Middleweight to face? Instead, he's dragging up 2 guys who already aren't a threat at Middleweight, to Super Middleweight and we're supposed to sit back and not say anything about his choice of opponent? Unranked opponents from a division below?:martin:

Chavez isn't a lightheavy you know that ...he never attempted to campaign at 175 ever...it was always catchweights to get back to 168 cuz of the injuries N layoffs

You stay calling jccjr a lightheavy cuz he weighed at 171...but Angulo is a MW when he weighs at 163 :comeon:

You know by now I don't give af about rankings...you keep bringing up fight a top this fight a top that...I ain't bout to act like I care about a fight with Rocky Fielding, Isaac Ekpo, Tyron Zeuge, Jamie Cox...cuz they ranked :dead:

What's going to sell more Tickets get more tv views?? a top 15-25 SMW nobody knows or cares about or Angulo/Rosado ??

What's better to get jccjr career back on track with fans... a slugfest vs Angulo/Rosado or a fight vs god knows who that y'all will bytch about any way cuz you never heard of the 22 ranked SMW

2 injuries... a year layoff...possibly a new trainer...any other fighter y'all would give a pass cuz its :Jccjrstache:we get fake ass outrage N standards Nobody else is held to:camby:

His last 2 fights were held in the light Heavyweight division....that's why he was ranked there.

JCC Jr JUST had his last fight against Marcos Reyes ( who was another unranked Middleweight that he dragged up to 168:umad:), which was supposed to be at the 168 limit.....but JCC Jr missed weight and weighed in at 170.8:ufdup:

3 of his last 4 fights he's weighed in at Light Heavy (172 1/2 against Vera, 171 1/2 against Fonfara, 170.8 against Reyes).....but he's not a Light Heavy, he's a 168lber:camby:

Who cares about ticket sells....you are a fan, not apart of his team. The point of him fighting at Super Middle & facing a Top 15-30 SMW, instead of an unranked Middleweight (again:dead:), is because it's better competition for him:ufdup:

You know, he's supposed to be trying to actually get better...not to keep fighting much smaller men, who aren't any good at their OWN class, in order to get an easy W and live off his Dad's name for the rest of his career.

Facing decent opponents in his own weight class will help him become a better fighter in the class. Facing gatekeepers from classes beneath him wont help at all.

Dude in the ring oversized as hell looking like Billy Madison vs a 6th grader in his last fight:mjlol:

What's better to get jccjr career back on track with fans... a slugfest vs Angulo/Rosado or a fight vs god knows who that y'all will bytch about any way cuz you never heard of the 22 ranked SMW

How's a fight against Angulo or Rosado gonna help him get back on track???:martin:

You think Boxing fans/media are stupid? You think we don't know that Angulo and Rosado are already gatekeepers in their own weight class? You think we forgot about James De La Rosa beating Angulo easily on the Floyd/Maidana card and Quillin KOing Rosado?:dahell:

He needs to be fighting a legit opponent so that he can actually IMPROVE in the ring. He hasn't improved at all since Sergio Martinez gave him that work a few years back and never will when you have his stans :cape: for him consistently fighting Middleweights while weighing in as a Light Heavyweight at the weigh ins:francis:

2 injuries... a year layoff...possibly a new trainer...any other fighter y'all would give a pass cuz its :Jccjrstache:we get fake ass outrage N standards Nobody else is held to:camby:

Breh, you don't even hold JCC to standards you hold SWIFT too:dead:

You wouldn't let Swift pull something like this and not speak on it, but for some reason you defending the undefensible on behalf of JCC:wow:

You always :cape: for this bum who hasn't improved 1 bit, always fighting smaller fighters, always "injured". I don't even know why you still stan this clown, when he's shown you over and over again he doesn't give a fk about Boxing forreal:snoop:

For god sakes, this clown QUIT in the ring....but is supposed to be given multiple passes when his whole career after Sergio Martinez has been him living off the Chavez name his Dad made pop?:martin:

Stop it:forreal:

Why you in your feelings about this :russ:

2nd time you bring up Swift AND SR
:mjlol:

He was ranked at 168 for Badou Jacks title

When was he ranked at 175?? :russ:

Ok Breh Boxing Fans aren't going to like Angulo or Rosado as an opp but they'll be there to watch Rocky Fielding :francis:

The boxing fans ate up Khan at middleweight even tho he was ktfo twice before... I'm sure they'll eat up Mex vs Mex or Mex vs PR :umad:

You the last muhfukker on earth that should be talking bout weight classes... Bu bu bu but 155 isn't middleweight Bread said so guys :sadcam:

Thing is it shouldn't have been though..

No denying that, but there's been plenty of fights that shouldn't have been hard that ended up being hard. Dude said Thurman never been in a real hard fight before. I just said the Chaves fight was hard. I don't really care about whether it should have been hard or not. That wasn't the point.

Hell, Molina shouldn't have been a hard fight for Bey and it wasn't up until that last round. :mjlol:
