Porter stays open to the counter body everytime he throws that left jab. Broner exposed that late in their fight. He's also very open to the uppercut. Easy fight for Berto or any other top fighter at 147
He's also open to get countered every time he jabs. He tries to do the jab-hug, to cover up his retraction point, however if you circle to the left and check hook he'll be in trouble all day ala brook.

Thing is Porter has intangibles, and when he throws it right packs Oxy in his right hand. Easy fight for Berto? No sir, Porter has too much hustle. Bootleg Bad Azz

I also think at least Kenny Porter's underestimating Thurman's power & his ability to hurt people to the body.

I agree but.........I don't think Thurman has stayed sharp during this extensive lay off. Porter is a good boxer with + intangibles. Good stamina, endurance, finds a way to win etc. Thurmans never really been in a hard fight and with all his ring rust I think it's gonna end up fukking him. Porter should be focusing exclusively on the area Collazo hit Keith with the shotgun blast.

Only fight he has ever fought with an opponent truly above MW was Fonfara and he got :deadmanny:.

In the past I have dug into his KO% at MW and it wasn't that good. He was a bully who used his size as an advantage. We need to see him against guys who are his own size to really judge anything about him. Rosado and Angulo are borderline MW's, more like tween JMW-MW's. I can't take any of his fights seriously until he fights a guy at 168 who has a history of fighting at 168.

Not saying he faked an injury, just interesting how the second (maybe hardest) fight of his career vs. Jack gets cancelled and then he schedules a shot fighter from 1.5 weight divisions below him.
:stopitslime:

Jack the 2nd hardest fight of his career :mjlol:

Sergio Martinez
Fonfara
Andy Lee

But yes its convenient Jccjr got injured.. that scary Badou Jack :comeon:

What happened last time Jccjr was inactive for a year while coming off an injury?? Fonfara kod Chavez

So Why tf would they do that again :martin:

Chavez Jr is really a Light Heavy coming down to 168...His last two fights he weighed 170 & 171

Angulo last 3 fights been 163, 162, 162, he's a tween Jmw - MW tho :dead:

That's some Fox News looting vs surviving commentary you got there friend :rudy:

Rosados name is in the mix cuz he has a name N he's asked for the fight N wants the fight:smugjccjr:

Edit- That was @Newzz with the Fox News Spin on 171 = LHW 163 = MW....my fault:russ:

He just made it harder than it should've been.

Ehhhh, I'm not going to take anything away from Chaves though. He was undefeated going into that fight and isn't a bad fighter himself. He gave Rios and Bradley all they could handle and would have been a step up from all of the euro cacs Brook been fighting if that would have went through. He fought the right type of fight during the 1st half but, ..........

#Thurminators will always find that chin breh..:demonic:

Julio Cesar Chavez Jr should be facing either: Martin Murray, Lucian Bute, Fedor Chudinov, Felix Sturm, Callum Smith, Andre Dirrell, or Arthur Abraham next....not bringing up to Super Middleweight a pair of blown up Middleweights who aren't even ranked in the Top 15 at Middleweight:snoop:

Forgive me for entertaining this but this headline had me :martin:

Dana White: If Floyd Mayweather wants to fight Conor McGregor, he should call me :martin:

Nah pleighboi you call TMT / Al for your cash out. Doubt anyone in boxing looking for McGreg, I would like to hear some of the negotiation details behind fights in general.

That GGG Canelo negotiating probably entertaining.

Ok breh...1 year inactivity plus 2 injuries = you must fight a "top 15" in your weight class on return

Don't ever flip flop on that :stopitslime:

He's not fighting a Top 15 at his weight...his weight is Super Middleweight. He's attempting to face 2 guys who aren't ranked in the Top 15 of the division BENEATH his where they normally fight:martin:

It's a bogus matchup:francis:

Equivalent of James Kirkland dropping down to Welterweight, and dragging up Thomas Dulorme from Junior Welterweight to face him at 147:stopitslime:

:dahell:

Where did I say otherwise?? :aicmon:

Im not the one over here making up rules on the fly that you MUST fight a top 15 fighter at your weight upon return from a yr inactivity AND 2 injuries :heh:

I live in real life where nikkas who are inactive N injured get babied :francis:

You know like fighting Paul Smith who was on a 2 L streak N dragging him up in weight...im sure its ok tho cuz Paul Smith was "Top 15" somewhere:dead:

Paul Smith and Andre Ward BOTH made their debuts at Light Heavyweight against each other.....& his "2 L streak" your speaking of was him having his last 2 fights fighting for the WBO Super Middleweight Championship before facing SOG:ufdup:

That bum Mexican who's own father calls an embarrassment is attempting to drag up 2 washed up fighters who aren't ranked anywhere in the world at Middleweight, to a brand new weight class they've never fought in, because he got KTFO when he fought someone his own size, so he's running back down to Super Middleweight to attempt to get a win against 2 guys who are much smaller than him:camby:

How dare you even attempt to slander a legend like SOG in order to defend that spoiled Mexican that I tossed in the bushes just like Fonfara and his own Dad did:dahell:

Im not surprised you're defending this anyways...you have a precedent for :cape: for larger fighters you stan dragging up unranked fighters from the division beneath them, to new weight classes, in order to try and secure a W:mjlol:
