I feel like when I reply to clarify, since I read through all the chats, that I am sticking up for him. Lol. :skip:

Not trying to, since I don't always agree with his opinion, I just enjoy reading the chats for information purposes and definitely don't take his opinion as fact.

What I will say is, he actually has said that Canelo is the A side and that it is his right to ask for terms.
Regarding Canelo he has said Canelo can ask for 155 and GGG can ask for 160 and what needs play out is the actual negotiation, because right now what is going on is nothing more than media talk. The last time he gave a prediction he thought the fight would take place at 157-158. He thought Canelo would give up a few pounds, but would definitely not agree to 160 and that in order to make the fight GGG would go down a couple pounds.

Regarding Ward he said the same thing, but I think it got misinterpreted here because K2 sent the demands to Ward claiming they were the A-side, but he wasn't as clear an A-side as Canelo is and basically Ward responded saying he wouldn't be treated as the B-side. But they never negotiated, so people view that as the only deal it had to be. K2 sent a 164 pound offer and when Ward responded, GGG already had a fight signed. Had they actually engaged in a negotiation the fight probably wouldn't have ended up at 164, but somewhere north of that. :manny:

But if I recall, the offer that Roc Nation sent were for the two to fight AFTER whoever both their next opponents were... they turned down that offer and made excuses.. the same 50/50 offer that they themselves demanded

@Newzz, Bread saying what you have. 154 is better than 147, but doesn't have the names.

Super Welterweight has a huge triple header coming up. Lara vs Martirosyan, Charlo vs Trout and Charlo vs Jackson. Who do you have winning and do you think anyone can unify the division? And where does Jrock and Demetrius Andrade fit in with the winners.

Bread’s Response: Yes 154 does not have the star power that 147 has but I think the fighters are better.

I think Lara and Martirosyan is a close fight. But Lara seems to know what he wants to do and Martirosyan who is very talented is always caught between styles. When I see Martirosyan fight it seems as if he’s fighting with no plan. He could have defeated Jermell Charlo. Charlo was frustrated and tepid vs Martirosyan. Martirosyan dropped Andrade then stopped throwing punches. He also got off to a good start vs Lara in their first fight but then seemed to lose momentum. I don’t know what it is but this always seems to happen to him. I wouldn’t be surprised if beat Lara but I can’t pick him because in a competitive fight the fighter who has better mental bearings has the advantages.

So let’s say Lara by decision. Not a dominant decision but a clear and competitive one.

Jermall Charlo should beat Austin Trout. I think he’s a little to big and heavy handed for Trout. If Trout was quicker on his feet to offset the size he could upset Charlo but Trout is not tha quick in my opinion. I do like Trout’s gameplan though. He said in an interview that Charlo likes to dictate the pace. He’s right. Charlo is never out of his comfort zone. He’s always fighting shorter, less talented guys who aren’t quick enough or durable enough to push him. I think Trout can push him but I don’t know if his chin will hold up. I think this will be a good fight but Charlo by late stoppage or clear decision after he drops him a couple of times.

Jermell Charlo has a tough fight vs John Jackson. Jermell is a natural boxer but in this fight he’s giving up length. Jackson’s arms hang down to his knees. He’s also fights a skittish fight off of his back foot. Jermell does not like to walk fighters down. The problem for Jermell is Jackson can really punch. So you have a fighter who does not like to engage being forced to engage against a puncher. I think this could be a boring fight because both guys seem to fight over cautious. This is really a pick em fight but I will lean to Charlo because he is the A side. So let’s say Charlo by decision.

Yes The division can be unified but it depends on who wins the titles. But in all honesty it’s highly unlikely. Too many friendships, political reasons and fighters not wanting to badly enough. We shall see.

Julian Williams and Demetrius Andrade in my opinion fit in just fine. They are the two best fighters in the division with Liam Smith being the sleeper and Erickson Lubin being the guy to watch next year. Both Williams and Andrade are looking to get title shots but there is a lot of room between now and then.

This struggle pic and the tagging of Drake in it supposedly wearing a Mayweather Boxing Club hat :mjlol:

I am completely confused by the thought process behind this pic...why would you PhotoShop Drake's face on whoever's body this is instead of just Photoshopping a hat onto a pic of Drake?
