Yeah lara would do the same against 97g. K2 needs to let 97g fight lara tho, if he can ko lara, that makes the canelo fight even bigger. Plus he would be 97g's biggest win ever.

I think Team GGG & HBO are both satisfied. HBO gets solid views for a GGG fight. GGG gets paid very well. It benefits both parties to keep him in these lopsided fights & sell the MW division as one that has no interesting fights out there.

Let me talk about how disappointed I am in Dominic Wade.

Dominic Wade is a guy that was discovered & sent to train at Haymon's Power Plant. These fighters max out at the D level. They provide a service. When top tier fighters need an opponent, they have these guys ready to go.

The difference between your typical D fighter & a Haymon D fighter, is a Haymon D fighter is suppose to be able to go at least 5 rounds. These guys have more resources and are able to get more high level training over your typical D level fighter. That is why K2 & HBO reached out & got Wade. Wade was suppose to go in there & at least push GGG for a good 5 rounds. He just didn't get the job done.

haymon has had control of the top welterweights for a while now and only when it was plainly obvious the public would not take another one-sided beating did he make broner/porter. and one whole year later after everyone fought their own bums for a year did he finally struggle to put together thurman/porter

difference is GGG has one guy to face in his division, and that guy doesnt want to fight him. your haymon people controlled at least 3, 4, 5 guys and still did nothing with any of them.

Wassup with all the GGG hate around here??? I can understand that he have alot of media behind him and he gets a big push from HBO with basically a mediocre resume. But the only person he really didn't want smoke with was Ward(can't blame him on that, bigger guy that would derail his terminator hype train).So people saying but but but Lara (Canelo had him on a speedbike), Jacobs (has power but he's chinny so , and choco kid ( struggled with all the 160s that GGG would smoke in under 6rounds so ) will give him trouble is they will all get smoked just the same and you will be trolling if you say they wont. And he already said he will fight top people at 168..so yall giving him shyt for him and his team hyping hisself up and then backing down from the number 1 p4p boxer in world (Ward) basically ..that ain't right

And for Canelo he's a good counter puncher but I think his power is overrated and he doesn't have a high enough workrate to beat GGG. Besides him getting UDed by Floyd and just doing enough to beat Lara, Trout, and Cotto what has he done that yall think he can beat GGG?



Just wondering if any of yall can break down the "97G" hate.

If Golovkin and his team would actually show any interest in making a fight against any of the guys who you named he might get more love here.
As it stands you, the rest of his stans and the boxing media all say how easily he would beat those guys but only seem to be focused on him fighting Canelo and until he gets Canelo the assembled Golovkin Syan Brogade are perfectly content with him fighting subpar opposition.

what did we think of chocalito last night?

I thought he looked good against a guy that wasn't coming to just pick up a check. He got caught with some good shots, but was still able to dominate dude outside of maybe 2 or 3 rounds.

and #GGGoodboys did what was expected against Wade.

nothing special happened that night except for Roman hitting dude so hard that his shoe fell apart and the sole separated.

After reading these quotes from the WBA, I have a feeling that the WBC will allow the WBA to enforce their mandatory and order GGG/Jacobs. WBC gonna use that as a way to stall GGG/Canelo because I doubt Canelo gonna give GGG a shot yet. Just a hunch though
