Boxing in the sense that GGG isn't one dimensional. I think his detractors think he just comes forward and tries to run you over. Versus Lemieux he stayed on the outside and used the jab to control the fight. Granted Canelo and Lemieux are different animals.
GGG will never box someone like Ward or Rigo. People may feel he is not capable of doing it...but it also isnt his style. His style is aggressive pressure focusing on offense. My argument is that too many people devolve that into no defense or boxing skills, but his style is more layered than just that. He can use the jab, he can be more defensively responsible when he chooses, and he has out boxed guys without using his pure pressure style. To me the discussion is not if he has those skills (because he has shown them), but can he do them vs. top opponents and be the more effective fighter.

middleweight champion Saul "Canelo" Alvarez is off the hook in his $9 million lawsuit with former IBF junior flyweight champion Ulises "Archie" Solis as both sides have reached a settlement ... TMZ Sports has learned The agreement brings an end to the trial that started Monday in an Los Angeles courtroom.
As we previously reported, Solis sued Alvarez over a 2011 street fight they allegedly had in Guadalajara. According to court docs, the settlement was reached on Thursday. Terms of the deal have not been disclosed. Solis had claimed Alvarez hit him so hard it broke his jaw ... forcing him to cancel future fights, so the IBF stripped him of his belt. Solis also lost a few teeth and had to undergo two surgical procedures on the jaw. Solis had tried to bring criminal charges against Canelo in Mexico, but he was unsuccessful in doing so.

Was thinking today a mythical matchup that interests me is Prince Naseem vs. Donaire.
I like both guys. Both have good power, good speed, good chins, Naseem carried a little bit more weight, but both not naturally real big.

Nonito would have to fight a disciplined fight because he could get stretched with one shot in this one & being that Nas is the naturally bigger fighter. I also think Nonito could catch Nas with something big as well.

I never liked to shadow box. That was the one exercise I hated to do, but on average I would prolly shadow box for 3-5 rounds and then proceed to do the same amount of rounds on the heavy bag, double end, speed, etc...
