Whether he admitted to ducking margs or not, i noticed he conveniently forgot to mention Paul Williams too.
:sas2:
Paul Williams was never As popular or relevant as cheato (even though he beat him). Floyd was speaking in regards to big names of his era. Cheato actual had the juice (for about 5 minutes) until mosley beat that ass and exposed his cheating. Paul Williams was a solid fighter but he's becoming more and more overated by the day.

And if cheato kept winning floyd woulda beat his ass eventually, his reign on the top was short like leprechaun:yeshrug:

But again, he's a cheater

Nah, I don't view Paul Williams as a guy he ducked.

If Paul would have stayed at 147, maybe you would have an argument.

After Paul avenged his lost to Quintana, he moved up. He never fought at WW again. So he's fighting at 154/160, but yet welterweights are ducking him when your in a different weight class?

I personally feel he was done at 147 & was only willing to go through that grind of making weight for the right fight. You have to be able to see through the bullshyt in boxing. Paul along with everyone else wanted the Mayweather fight, so of course he was gonna be marketed as a guy WW that can't get a fight at WW.

When him & Clottey where going back & forth about a potential fight, Team Williams wanted the fight at 154. Clottey was clearly fighting at WW at the time.

It would be like Keith Thurman just moving up to 154, but yet saying WW's are ducking him. You just gotta keep fighting at your weight. An opportunity will come & when it does come, you have to take advantage of it.

Margarito would have been a real problem for Floyd. I don't know how true it is, but word around Vegas at the time is Floyd didn't like that fight. He was worried about his brittle hands & Margarito had a really hard head. He's not type of guy you want to break your hands against. Floyd has been able to manage his hand problems, but 9-10 yrs ago it was still a concern.

from the home of coca-cola, i'm not referring to s
ESPN P4P list:

1. Roman Gonzalez
2. Gennady Golovkin
3. Manny Pacquiao
4. Sergey Kovalev
5. Timothy Bradley
6. Wladimir Klitschko
7. Guillermo Rigondeaux
8. Andre Ward
9. Canelo Alvarez
10. Terence Crawford

Thoughts?

:ehh:

For those of you motherfukkas saying Pacquiao is too high.. Keep in mind, he beat Bradley, who beat Marquez (who he already ha 2 Ws and a draw against)

And recently has only loss to the #1 p4p...

Also he's currently the only guy on that list with a win against another top 10 p4p.. Cotto (before his last L) and Tim Bradley.. and has another fight against p4p top 10, Crawford, where if he wins he should retire p4p #1 easily

Pacquiao is right where he belongs

I guess looking it at from that perspective, you have a point.

I see both arguments though.

I think by this time next year, Crawford could be Top 5.

I can't see Khan beating Crawford at 140:yeshrug:

Now dude just said Maidana would rape Crawford....I told him only thing Maidana is worried about raping is the finest of Argentinian delicacies and desserts:mjlol:

Khan can't even beat #AlgieriAssassins and nikkas think he'll beat Crawford :what: I couldn't make a worse match up for him than that. Maybe Thurman

:pachaha: at that shot at Chino though.

Exactly..paq loses to floyd via points and suddenly he is pushed all the way down..come on.
That coupled w inactivity and he hasn't dxactly looked like a top 3 boxer in his pet few fights? Shocks me they'd have BATB at 5 tbh when he's at best 7. How can you put manny ahead of wlad right now? Also like how roman Gonzalez is all of a sudden is consensus #1 p4p. Last month ring had bytch boy at 10 this week ESPN has Lil g me gimme that zero and pac above fukking wlad and dre :dead:
