canelo already told 97g he can come down to 155 and get that work. canelo is in the driver's seat now. canelo went down to 152 for floyd because floyd was the lottery ticket. canelo has nothing to gain by going up to 160. there's no big fight there except for 97g. canelo does one fight at 160 he may not ever be able to make 154 again. why take that chance?.....canelo can chill at 154 and wait for all these star welterweights to grow out of the division and just like that he got more big money fights lined up. errol spence already said he would love to fight him. imagine how big that fight would be in a couple years?.....but nah....canelo gotta give up on 154 for a fighter who can't even crack 100k on ppv....where they do that at:NickYoungWTF:

Canelo can weigh-in at 155 if he so chooses to at Middleweight, that's perfectly fine. There's no reason a guy as big as him should be asking for a catch weight against other middleweights.

And the thing is...he always gives props to that fight for teaching him. The fact is: Canelo has now fought Shane Mosley, Floyd Mayweather, Erislandy Lara, Austin Trout, & Miguel Cotto in 5 of his last 8 fights. That no doubt increases his experience level due to high caliber of opponent.
