George big ass head wouldn't be able to get out of the way fast enough for The Gentleman's left hook.
I thought he was great and I was rooting against him. You could see the stamina issues rearing its ugly head but not as much as it usually does with him. The times he did seem gassed was when he and Angel were in the phonebooth. Other than the stamina issues, which like I said, weren't that bad, I thought he looked good. Very good.

He didn't have to get hit nearly as much as he did against Cotto. Canelo defense/stamina always seemed suspect to me as far as his moments of emptiness where he just looks like he's trying to catch his breath. Props for him beating a good Cotto. Yes he did counter that left hook but still much left to be desired for me

How many fights does Cotto have left on his contract? I definitely think he is still live and would beat most at 154/147. I think there are some great matchups for him still. He looked good last night, just fought a huge fighter.

It is really hard to tell if the last 2-3 rounds were stamina problems or if he just knew he was up big. At first I thought he was gassed but he wasn't huffing as much as usual and his legs didn't look wobbly and/or stiff like they do when hes completely gassed. I think he looked really good last night. I saw a lot of mayweather in him with a lot of his movements and punch choices.

He was def better defensively and in picking what to counter with he also looked strong going into the final rounds usually dude is mouth open passed the 7th

I don't know if his footwork can be fixed with his current team. I'm a firm believe of you can teach an old(or new) dog new tricks but I don't think those Mexicans can help him there.
I think he can fix the luls in the action by getting a better jab imo he wants to hit nikkas badly with those flashy combos and sometimes be
halfway through the round because of hit. A better jab will give him more success with the combos and keep them guessing if a combo is coming or just the jab. Now he has control of the whole round instead of 70/30 or 60/40 which he is known to do.
