True it's unfair, but May/Pac was a $100 dud. That's never a good look. nikkas had to pay more than usual for a mega fight that sucked.
even then you can't look at that and suggest it hurt every single ppv sell after wards.
Canelo/Cotto is the only true test since that's the 1st real mega fight after May/Pac. We won't know how much that affected the casual perspective in boxing until the numbers for that fight come in.
Oscar/Trinidad was boring as fukk, but Oscar put on a bunch more exciting ppvs after that before even Oscar/Floyd happened. It's not like that fight happened right afterwards.
At the end of the day, it's all speculation.
