Donaire is nowhere near quick enough anymore. PBL will dance around him. Props to nonito for wanting to rumble though.

Loma ain't THAT fast now breh:whoa:

Him vs Donaire is a good matchup, and even though I would favor Lomachenko, it will be Loma's best opponent he's faced imo

Donaire is on my second tier squad, #FilipinoFlashMob, but i'm not sure I want him fighting Lomachenko. Dude is a beast and Donaire isn't as fast as he used to be. Donaire has a chin and probably takes more shots in this fight than he needs to. Lomachenko probably tags him to a clean shot beating. Donaire still has great power as an equalizer.

Wilder: I said I’d be an active champ, so once I whoop Povetkin I’ll defend two months after that!

WBC heavyweight title holder Deontay Wilder says he’s living up to his end of the bargain after making two successful defences of the belt since dethroning Bermane Stiverne back in January

Wilder, 30, has averaged almost five bouts per year since turning professional in 2008 and had promised to put his WBC title up regularly upon completing his lifelong dream at the beginning of the year.

True to his word, ‘The Bronze Bomber’ stopped Eric Molina and Johann Duhaupas in June and September respectively this year and is already lining up another contest for January 16 to mark his one-year anniversary as champion.

“I gave my oath to the people that once I become a champion I would be an active champion and I want to fight two or three months at a time, like back in the day how it used to be. I’m not afraid to put my title up against no-one, you know,” Wilder told World Boxing News in an exclusive interview.

“That’s just my thing and I love the sport of boxing. I love my job every time, not matter if it was a tough fight or an easy fight. I like to fight against opponents that want the opportunity. That’s the guys I want to fight. Those guys who really want that opportunity and really want to be champion.

“It’s like with me, once I got the belt my life changed, and they are the type of guys who will be getting the opportunity, so I’m looking forward to putting it up again.”

Mandatory Alexander Povetkin sealed his place opposite Wilder by halting Mariusz Wach in the final round in Russia on Wednesday and will be the next stipulated challenger in line to face the American once his next bout is complete.

Since making the transition from undefeated contender to fully fledged ruler, Wilder says he feels an extended sense of security within himself and is sure the talented Povetkin will go the same way as his other 35 opponents have gone previously.

“Once I whoop Alexander Povetkin’s ass I’m looking forward to putting my title up again two months after that,” said Wilder.

“I had confidence when I was a challenger, but now I’m a champion and I’ve been defending my title, doing it in great fashion and showing the world what I’m capable of doing, I feel even more confident in myself.

“It’s a great feeling being the champion and aim to continue to be as active as a can be,” he added.

Of course donaire has a shot of beating Lomachenko. Donaire has the power to do it...but dude's emotional state has been too up and down...he needs to have that fire back if it happens

On This Day: The infamous ‘Fan Man’ gatecrashed the Riddikk Bowe-Evander Holyfield rematch

Evander Holyfield is upstaged by the infamous Fan Man, writes George Gigney

BOXING has never seen a stranger incident. About a minute into the seventh round of Riddikk Bowe’s rematch with Evander Holyfield at the open-air Caesars Palace arena in Las Vegas on November 6, 1993, a “lunatic parasailer” crash-landed ringside to create “the most dramatic occasion in the history of boxing,” according to Harry Mullan’s ringside report.

James Miller, 30, disturbed what was a “magnificent championship battle” for Bowe’s WBA and IBF heavyweight titles. The delay took 22 minutes, and MC Michael Buffer kept the crowd of 14,242 calm by talking to them throughout.

When the action continued, Holyfield worked toward another unforeseen event by outpointing Bowe on a majority decision to become only the third man in history to regain world heavyweight honours, with Floyd Patterson and Muhammad Ali being the first two.

Holyfield’s performance in a thrilling fight made the night “unforgettable anyway,” besides Miller’s bizarre intervention.

Bowe had unanimously outpointed Holyfield the year before, leading Evander to be considered as the underdog heading into the rematch.

However, under new trainer Emanuel Steward, the 31-year-old outboxed and outgunned a “bloated” Bowe by sticking to a measured game plan, and the pair tried to continue scrapping after the final bell.

The third and final chapter of their fierce trilogy happened two years later, when Bowe became the first man to stop ‘The Real Deal’ Holyfield.

The "Fan Man" got his ass BEAT that night. I remember watching that fight and him being woke trying to get free, and then him slumped being carried out after the crowd got a hold of him:wow:

I thought he was dead:mjcry:

@hyperman25 :blessed:
I think it's Martirosyan and then the winner of Charlo/Jackson for the WBC belt

Breh give me what PBC has planned for #BeterBeasts starting next year

They said he'll be back early next year. No mentions of any opps but
If you look at his rankings with the belts, you'll see he's 1 fight from being the mandatory in all of em

So Beterbiev gonna get kovalev's scalp eventually :demonic:

im also on record saying LSC is a good fighter and had potential to be better but I think he is showing signs of regression because of haymon coddling him with soft touches..things I mentioned heavily in that thread because of his performance in that jobber fight
you think postol just isn't a good fighter at all period because of that one fight you saw live :comeon:

Pat I was at the fight too and Postol is just as bad as Choc says
He was getting tagged by a :trash:he chose, he was holding and looking over at his corner like :francis: and arguing with them between rounds

Postol isn't good and Matthysse lost to someone as bad as Postol because he's not meant to have a belt :Belts On Belts:
