I was too. I actually thought with Monroe would outclass him. Dude is as skillful as they come but he felt that power once and forgot how to fight. He stuck it out and tried to slug but :francis:
That's the thing. When he stayed in there he was touching him. You have to be able to stand your ground with him. You can't allow him to push you around. That's why I don't buy he just let him hit him.

Can't argue with what you said playa
Yeah I saw that bullshyt a mile away. I need Broner to fight better than both. Not just because we saw somebody we might like at the moment.

Giving the way the shyt is set up with the WWE vs The WCW I actually wouldn't mind a Joseito Lopez fight vs Broner if he can get a solid win.
But what are the odds of that happening?
He wins the belt against a dude who was on a hiatus and the first words out of his mouth are to call out Ashley fukking Theophane.
My argument is if Broner won't fight a so-called top fighter then Diaz is a shyt ton better an opponent than the dregs of boxing that Broner is actually looking at.

Nah. GGG can be touched. He's not some world class defensive specialist If Willie had the power his homeboy Brandon Adams has, along with that skill, GGG might not be the GGG we know right now.

Shawn Porter favorited my sketch of him on Twitter.

I mean it's not a big deal, but it's cool that he or one of his people seen it.

Real talk, when it comes to Twitter, boxers are the colest muhfukkas out there. I've had convos with Shane, Roy, Porter, Crawford, and even Biscuits.

Biscuits is by the far the funniest muhfukka next to Iron Sheik and Jarret Jack. :heh:

--- can get touched, easily!

Not even saying that as an insult, Macklin touched him, Lemiuex got some good shots in etc. etc. nobody has had the power to knock mc eiht (the g ain't in him :mjcry:) off his game yet

So far, a past it Ouma has been the only boxer I 've seen be competitive with GGG as far as controlling/winning rounds goes.

He pretty much used the age old blueprint to deal with punchers.

- Be 1st and push the puncher back with steady offense
- Pivot and use the ring to counter and make the puncher reset
- Walk them into shots whenever they get too anxious
- Box aggressively enough to win hustle rounds whenever they aren't letting their hands go.
- Be willing to fight them off when they corner you or close distance (What SRL did in spots against Hagler)

Ouma was just too past it and naturally smaller to really capitalize on what he was able to do for the 1st half of the fight.

I'm positive that Ward would be able to do all of those things against Golovkin.

I just doubt that anybody at 160 can. Jacobs or Lee could prolly do it for a while though. They both have the size and power to try and make it work.

ya that fight GGG had to dig deep... i think its more of him adjusting as a fighter, overseas have shytty trainers but good fighters... in this fight he looked like provo.
