And for the record...saying that #TitoTitans wouldn't lose to Margarito and Trout isn't some type of triangle theory to shyt on Cotto. It's a Felix Trinidad wouldn't lose to fukking Margarito and Trout because he's an elite ATG welter that never lost to random B level guys he was the favorite against.

That's like someone saying lightweight Floyd wouldn't lose to Baby Bull Juan Diaz, because Nate Campbell was able to beat him. At that point styles don't even matter, it's just that you wouldn't pick an ATG elite boxer to lose to some B level guy that doesn't have any type of advantages in that fight.

Trout and Margarito have no advantages against Tito an aren't even in the same class of fighter. Them beating Cotto says more about Cotto's limitations than anything else.

I mean nobody would pick Ali to beat Tommy Morrision just because Mercer did it. nikkas would pick Ali to win just because he's levels above both them nikkas.

In order for Triangle Theories to work or even be used in the proper context, all boxers being discussed must be on equal or similar standings.
I don't see Tito Trinidad, Margarito, Trout, and Cotto as equals. Trinidad is obviously more dangerous, beaten better comp, higher ranked in ATG etc....than all of them nikkas.

Most nikkas that truly follow boxing, would agree with this logic.

at you still in your feelings about this shyt. That thread was from so long ago too.

First off you got triangle theories in boxing and then you just got flat out levels in boxing.

The aforementioned post that you quoted is in regards to levels. Trinidad is levels above Cotto. Even his competition is levels above the guys that beat Cotto.

Cotto would be the underdog or 50/50 at best against guys like Vargas, Reid, and Joppy. You know big strong jr middleweights/middleweights that would all prolly be picked to beat guys like Trout and Margarito.

You honestly making this shyt more difficult than it is. Anybody that's a real boxing fan and that is knowledgeable of the sport could easily understand what I meant. For some reason you can't. I guess you don't know boxing as good as you think you do.

You basically can't tell the difference between a triangle theory and somebody just being levels above somebody. That's basically what this comes down to.

Triangle Theories are as follows.....Foreman should be able to beat Ali since he destroyed Frazier and Norton while Ali struggled with them. The thing is all of those guys are near or on similar levels to even make that comparison.
