@Knicksman20

lmao BennyST is still in full on troll mode, look at his reply about GGG being 'tbe @160"

shyt like this is why you cant have a discussion on there. BennyST is highly knowledable and highly intelligent and hes basically been reduced to comedic argument and trolling

BennyST;16054989 said:
You guys are just haters. If you don't agree with my opinion that he's TBE at 160, you're just haters.

Undoubtedly. Not just the last 15 years either. When you go back more than 15, maybe 20 years the fighters start to devolve into lesser boxers, with less strength, less size, less power, less speed, and less skills.

The best way to think of it is like this; GGG has gathered all the skills and information that all fighters and trainers have developed, let's just say from 1900 onward, and so that way, of course he is better than someone from 1970. You've got 40 years of extra knowledge from 1970 to now, which GGG has developed.

He's basically a combination of the best parts of Robinson, Monzon, Hagler and Hopkins.

GGG TBE 160.

:mjcry: dude is genius at shyt like this

does he throw money on fights??? how rich is he??? i have folks who throw money and are knowledge..they are more happy than sad.

honestly i would have to check my pms (i have a done that date back to 2004) but i think he works some real cushy job in thailand, he never struck me as the type who bets, but you can ask @Knicksman20 hes easily one of the greatest boxing minds i have ever seen online. Iceman John Scully posts alot there too, but even he isnt as good as that cat Silencers, im dead serious. the guy was practically never wrong.

i do miss talking to silencers though, he wont post on the actual board, only responds in PM about once a month, he lives in thailand and i always wonder how hes doing. That guy is the greatest poster i have EVER seen. You could browse his post history and get a instant history lesson. That guy is only about a year older than me and destroys me in the knowledge department.

His eye on breaking down fighters, that guy legitimately could have been a matchmaker.

He was one of the few back in 2008 i asked him in pm "How legit is calderon roughing up de la hoya in sparring?"

his answer

"de la hoya fights small when he doesnt have to, i have no doubt calderons movement bothered him and he got tagged, look at when he fought steve forbes, he crouched, i have no doubt the pacquiao fight is going to a huge problem, he doesnt fight tall when he needs to against smaller guys"

this was something genuinely didint notice until he said it.

He also once broke down Cottos predictable body attack could be exposed by pacquiao if cotto doesnt use movement to bother pacquiao he may get stopped, there was this way he broke it down where he predicted DEAD ON how pacquiao could beat him because of some fukking fight he saw in like 2005 lmao, i think it was ricardo torres. The dude was a serious boxing genius. He was almost never wrong. He was ALWAYS one of the nicest guys on there too.

wait wait wait...ivan calderon once roughed up oscar in sparring?..im legit appalled in more ways than one

yea, there was a HUGE uproar over it too because people were arguing weather it actually happened.

im telling you homie, there is very little fight knowledge i dont have over the last 15 years i obsessed over the sport ive bet on it also.

only time i ever predicted anything good was

1. margarito would run over cotto (now we know why)
2. Lineares would get caught because his defense was leaky as hell
3. Trinidad had no chance against winky
4. Taylor vs Wright was gonna be a draw (won 1k off that shyt)

other than that, i sort of been wrong alot more than right lmao

According to Mauricio Sulaiman, President of the WBC, two options have been explored with both the 147-154 titles being vacated by Floyd to either have a 4 man Tournament to crown a Champion or to have the two top ranked fighters face off. If that is to happen instead of a Tournament, it would set up a rematch between Amir Khan and Danny Garcia for the WBC Welterweight title

Itll end the same way, Kahns defensive issues arent fixed because his head is still stiff when he throws combinations, he doesnt have the power to hurt Garcia and Garcia is patient, hell wait for kahn to throw and calmly counter him to the fukking canvas. Youll end up with Garcia as champ with a huge target on his back because Garcia is definately beatable at this point.

actually i dont think coke had anything to do with it. Look at when he fought steve forbes, a guy with VERY LITTLE power and he walked away with a broken jaw, that prediction about him crouching to his opponents was dead on correct. I looked at footage of the Gatti fight and he traded with a guy needlessly when he could have just fought tall. Now look at El Feroz, a fight where he clearly stayed focused, but Fernando is roughly his size, he fought tall, used the jab and made sure to break him down. Look at the second chavez fight, again, he needlessly traded for no reason other than to prove a pointless ass point. he was always that kind of fighter

We have a guy like that too.....I wonder if it's the same poster, @Yuzo :ohhh:

@Yuzo is the most knowledgable cat I have ever read from on a message board when it comes to breaking down footage/style/movement

He rarely posts, but when he posts, we shut up. When he leaves.....we be posting again:wow:

amir will not take on danny..he wants that big money fight and call it quits. Trust me..that is all. he is virtually done with boxing, hunter knows this and the berto getting the call kind of put a sour note between khan and team berto/hunter but respect is still there..

you probably never noticed, but years ago i broke down why Broner was going to have big problems in his career. I felt he was too flat footed, had horrible balance and his shoulder roll was used as a last minute defense mechnism as opposed to anticipate punches. I also felt that he studied mayweather post 2007 where he began trying to save his hands and his punch output went down. Not understanding that mayweather was a beast and arguiably the best 135lb fighter ever, he used to let his hands go and tear people apart. Not to mention broners footwork is fukking also. His power didint carry to 147 and it shows. I think because im not really a polarizing figure nobody really cared or noticed but i had long predicted this guy wasnt that good.

Good...if he ducks Garcia, then #2 vs #3 would be mandatory then.

That means, #2 Garcia would be forced to face #3 Shawn Porter for the WBC Welterweight Championship.:demonic:

@Newzz

real talk, i been on boxingscene since i was still in the military this is my profile here and i seriously got burned out on talking about, that place really jaded my opinion on boxing forums as a whole. imagine arguing in mayweathers favor for literally LITERALLY 10 YEARS. i watched mayweather go from loved contender to p4p king, to the most hated man in the entire sports world and i was by his side the whole time no homo. I found boxing forums to be some of the most racist, hate filled garbage ass forums i had ever seen. when pacquiao rose to fame in 2009 is when it hit an all time low. its a big reason why i dont spend much time in the ring, not because i dont watch the sport, but go look at my post history i spent A LONG TIME on that forum. A LONG TIME.

The one good thing about that place is that you had some SERIOUS knowledgeable posters on there, seriously, you had guys who knew the sport in and out like crazy, @Knicksman20 was a guy i actually brought here from there. There was a guy on there named 'Silencers" and another guy named "TheGreatA' I mean those guy had knowledge and could see shyt i couldnt see their historical knoweldge of the sport was incredible. You had old timers posting there that sadly died but they knew the sport because they witnessed alot of shyt first hand. But they dont post anymore. Only guy who really knows his shyt and still posts from the old era is a guy named IMDAZED who is a master pacquiao troll and beats them at their own game and hes black so he sees through all the BS and you can tell hes highly educated. But thats why i hardly ever post. I have literally thousands of hours of fight footage on deck, but i just dont have the energy to talk about it like i used to. Boxingscene scarred me for life.
