:lupe:

But what really caused the talks of a rematch to cease was neither Vitali’s nor Lennox’s doing, instead it was all because of a woman. According to a recent interview with Lennox’s former master trainer Emanuel Steward, Lennox’s wife Violet Chang did not want him to ever box again, giving him an ultimatum to choose: it’s either boxing or her. (East Side Boxing' One the Ropes Boxing Radio Program, Geoffrey Ciani).

“I told Lennox after the fight: I feel like we owe Vitali a rematch. Lennox agreed with me. Even after a year since Lennox left boxing, we talked about that fight. She didn’t want him to continue boxing, despite the fact that Lewis still wanted to fight. If Vitali and him were able to secure a rematch, it would be very intriguing.”

He should've told her, he has to fight 1 more match:snoop:

Julian Williams Hits Back at Austin Trout For 'Talking Sh*t'

Posted by: Ryan Burton on 9/9/2015 .

By Ryan Burton

Last night, former super welterweight champion Austin "No Doubt" Trout (30-2, 17KOs) notched another victory with a sixth round knockout of Joey Hernandez (20-0-1, 12KOs) in the main event of the Premier Boxing Champions (PBC) on Fox Sports 1 debut broadcast.

Rising star Julian "J-Rock" Williams defeated Hernandez via unanimous decision in April and has traded words with Trout on Twitter over the past several months.

"That's a statement to you, Julian Williams, J-Rock. This is how you do it son," said Trout after the fight.

"I showed you how to do it, son. I knocked (Hernandez) out, you went in there and played with him. If (Williams) wants it, he can come get it next."

Williams returns to the ring on September 22nd against rugged Argentine Luciano Cuello in a fight that will also be televised by Fox Sports 1.

The Philadelphia based Williams said that he is fully focused on Cuello but stated that he most definitely wants to take Trout up on his offer.

"I'm down 110% to fight Trout," Williams told BoxingScene.com. "It's funny he's talking sh*t about beating a fighter I just beat when he could have just fought me."

Williams finished our conversation with this parting shot: "I'm super focused on Cuello. He's no Joey Hernandez."

Kell Brook Is a p*ssy says Brandon Rios / I Hope Diego Chaves fukks Him Up!
By Olly Campbell | September 9, 2015 | 4 Comments

“Bam Bam” Brandon Rios is finally set to return to the ring in November against Timothy Bradley, a full 10 months after his dominant and destructive victory over old foe ‘Mile High’ Mike Alvarado in their January rubber-match.

It’s been a long time coming for the Robert Garcia trained brawler, who, until reasonably recently, was all set to be coming to England to challenge IBF welterweight champion Kell Brook, until the fight fell apart at the advanced negotiation stage – over a number of different reasons – chief among them was thought to be financial minutiae – so at the last minute, Team Rios, and manager Cameron Dunkin, had to start their search for an opponent all over again.

For his part, Brook has signed to fight Argentina’s finge contender Diego Chaves on October 24th in Sheffield, a man who managed a controversial draw against Bradley last December, and who got himself DQ’d in a dirty fight with Rios 13 months ago.

Speaking to fighthype.com about the fallout from the on-again, off-again behind-the-scenes talks his camp had with Team Brook, Rios, as always, didn’t mince his words, and allowed his frustration towards the Brit to be conveyed with a few choice insults.

“I hope Diego Chaves fukks him up,” Rios said succinctly. ” I hope Diego Chaves kicks his ass, because Kell Brook’s a p*ssy, he didn’t wanna fight me.”

“He was talking all this bullshyt, ‘Brandon’s scared, I could knock you out, you’re easy work, this and that,” Rios continued. “But when I said ‘ok, let’s do it’, it got to ‘Oh, Brandon can’t use those gloves’ and ‘I want a rematch clause.’

“If you don’t wanna fight me then keep your mouth closed and don’t say my name. Just keep your mouth shut and keep on defending your title against guys like Frankie Gavin.”

“I hope Diego Chaves beats his ass and takes his title and brings it back to – well, Argentina – but he can defend it here in the States.”

Fans will now be unlikely to see any fight between Brook and Rios materialize, regardless of what happens in the future, as Brook is already developing an early – and perhaps unwarranted (just yet) – reputation for wanting to stay in the UK, and hasn’t shown any desire to travel back to the US as yet for the big fights.

That’s where any clash would have to now take place if they did ever get it on, according to Rios.

“I’d (still) be open to it but they gotta come to me now,” Rios said. “I was willing to go to him and take a pay cut and fight him in his backyard.”

“If I come out victorious (against Bradley) he can come to me and he can take the pay cut now, and if he don’t, ok, we move on…”

Breh, fukk all that. The last times an A-Side at Welterweight took on a dangerous/hard hitting opponent without ANY restrictive clauses was Bradley vs Prov & AB vs Maidana. They let them wear their gloves, no rehydration/catchweight clause, no nothing....and they could've done all that with the way it's going now.

Now we got bytch ass nikkas talking bout "bu-bu-but the gloves":shaq2:

Froch: “I never rated Groves”
By Lonsdale | September 9, 2015 | 21 Comments

A number of months ago, George Groves promised James DeGale that he would fight him if he managed to defeat Andre Derrell in a fight for the vacant IBF Super-Middleweight title, something DeGale went on to do on May 23rd.

If Groves himself manages to gain the WBC Super-Middleweight belt from Badou Jack when he fights him on Saturday, the showdown between the two brits is bound to take place. However, four time world champion Carl Froch, who famously beat George Groves twice, does not rate either of the fighters.

In an exclusive interview with Lonsdale he said: “I think they’re both equally as poor as each other.

“I’ve never rated George Groves. He gave me a good fight in the first match because I wasn’t prepared, the rematch was easy. And James DeGale lost to George Groves…”

Despite Groves beating DeGale in the first fight between the two, Froch thinks that the latter will come away from the rematch victorious, and believes that he is one of the main reasons for that, he continued:

“How does the rematch go? I think because of what I’ve done to George Groves I’ve probably taken the sting out of his tail and DeGale is now confident after a weak performance from a poor Derrell, so he will probably edge the fight.”

When it comes to his personal favourite, Froch does not sway either way, but hopes for a good scrap where both fighters manage to do damage to each other, he told Lonsdale:

“Who would I want to win? I couldn’t care less. As long as they punch each other’s heads in for twelve rounds I’ll be smiling because they’ll both leave the ring bruised and battered, but like I said, I think James DeGale will win.”

Froch: “I never rated Groves”

Frochy Froch knows they are both food at 168:dead:
