Wladimir Klitschko, WBA, WBO, IBF & IBO Heavyweight Champion Discusses This Weekend's Heavyweight Champions Gathering at Seminole Hard Rock Hotel & Casino in Hollywood, FL

"I think it's an amazing event that happens once in a lifetime," said Klitschko following his workout at the Lucky Street Boxing Gym in Hollywood, Florida. "I'm not sure if an event like this has ever taken place in history of boxing when all of the heavyweights, former heavyweight champions, coming together. It's something amazing.

"I've seen a picture of Ali, Frazier, Foreman, Norton together and it was an amazing shot - it was a great shot for history. I think this Friday and Saturday is going to be really exciting. It is going to be a time where everybody is going to get a piece of memory, and that is the reality. It is a tough event to put together, I am happy that it is taking place, where all of the heavyweights can come together, have conversations and ask questions - and get some answers.

"It shows that we are all one community - one family, actually. There are some times in history where we didn't like each other because we were fighting in the ring, but in a way we respect and love each other. It is definitely something that is going to be an historic moment."

Shannon Briggs?

And that's at the top. (laughs) Maybe we'll get there to watch him fight. Maybe not. It depends on my training schedule - but I definitely will enjoy the night when all of the heavyweights get together. I definitely have a couple of questions to ask some of them.

fanboy types in 2015 show off their intelligence level when they call something like this "hate"

it's not hate if it's the absolute truth... or is it not the truth?
:stopitslime: shut the fukk up.

It doesn't matter how many people have ESPN as opposed to HBO. The fact of the matter is that fight was a big success as far as ratings go.

But Steve Kim is such a PBC hater and an HBO/TR dikk rider, that he's trying to deflect and bring up meaningless info to take away from the fact that the ratings were very well.

Had the ratings been poor, Steve Kim would be the 1st in line shytting on PBC and mocking them, talking about "BUT IT'S FREEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEE!!!"

But since it was such a success, it's "BUT BUT EVERYBODY HAS ESPN! BUT BUT HBO RATINGS!"

Get the fukk outta here with that bullshyt :camby:

BoxingScene.com has been advised that former two division world champion Devon Alexander (26-3, 14KOs) will return on October 14th against Aaron Martinez (19-4-1, 4KOs) on October 14th as part of a special edition of edition of Premier Boxing Champions on ESPN.

Alexander has been out of the ring since suffering a twelve round decision loss to Amir Khan last December at the MGM Grand in Las Vegas. He will aim to make a statement here after going 2-2 in his last four fights.

Martinez has dropped three of his last four. In June he came very close to stunning Robert Guerrero in a highly competitive fight and some observers at ringside scored the fight in his favor. He dropped Guerrero and him hurt in the fourth round. They traded punches until the tenth and final bell with Guerrero walking away with a split decision victory.
