Chris Algieri fought Emmanuel Taylor after Taylor hadnt fought in almost a full year (fought in March 2013 and fought Algieri in Feb 2014). That's 11 months of ring rust on him before there fight.


Broner fought Taylor, who was only 1 1/2 months off his previous win against Karim Mayfield, and in Taylor's 3rd fight of 2014. Different scenarios.


Broner makes easy work of Chris Algieri to me. Nobody without power or a chin will ever beat Adrien Broner.

Well, just have to see about that. Broner hasn't fought a top guy since Chino and we all know too well what happened there.

I need to see Broner handle somebody better than Taylor (entertaining bout, but still a struggle performance up until the last couple rounds) before I can really favor him over Algieri.

If I were to see Broner wash Matthysse or Peterson (which I think he could) than I would favor him especially if Chris doesn't get a rebound confidence builder beforehand.

Right now both Broner and Algieri have problems with aggressive punchers. Moreso Broner, since we saw Chris was at least able to outbox Provodnikov even though the fight was close.

Algieri outclassed Taylor so bad dude was thrown in a loser leaves town match up afterwards against Mayfield.

Dude had to save himself from Bolivia in order to even get a Broner fight. He then takes that same mentality and gives the Problem problems. He'll probably get himself another tv date off that performance.

I mean think about it. Mayfield looked god awful on HBO against Dulorme. shyt was one of the ugliest fights of all time. I had flashbacks of Ruiz/Johnson.

Then you have Taylor losing 10 rounds straight against some nobody in Algieri on FNF.

I mean a Mayfield/Taylor bout was the next logical step for both them nikkas.

That's why I never had a problem with Broner fighting Taylor, because Taylor earned that decent payday and it showed that 2 black Americans could headline a card and give us a good fight.

A MASTER boxer?





Guillermo Rigondeaux, Floyd Mayweather Jr are master boxers. Chris Algieri isnt even on the same level of boxing as JMM who's a great "boxer" as well.


Algieri is a good boxer, but he has a weak chin and no punching power. He's a taller, watered down version of Paulie Malignaggi....without the swag. He's a Coke Zero version of the real thing.


By the way....Master boxers dont get destroyed by anyone

We seen it in Floyd last few opponents. Ghost and Canelo goof asses thought they were gonna outbox Floyd... JMM thought he was gonna come up fromy super feather and out-counter Floyd.. Ortiz and Maidana had the right idea but one is a fukking degenerate and the other is lacking in so much actual boxing skills he tried to turn it into an MMA match.. Pac is the perfect formula and is gonna be the one to snatched that zero...
