I'm still confused on why the wbo stripped algieri of his 140 title...makes no sense

Probably so Manny Pacquaio could fight for it at 140 if he chose to stay there, since that would make him a Champion in another division (remember he skipped from 135 straight to 147)

also on the comment Froch being a HOF..to me dude is close bur he needs a elite level type of win to make that concrete..he's faced and beaten all relevant super middles in the last 7 years with the exception of 1..and thats where it hurts him

I think that's why he's so insisitent on trying to fight JCC Jr in Vegas. Not only would it be alot of money for him, but will give him another name to add to his resume (definitely his biggest name) if he wins which would solidify his HOF spot imo.

Boxing games are done for :manny:

I'll still appreciate my fight night champion

Real boxing on android also

What's killing boxing games is the fact that each individual boxer has to be licensed. I dont know why they dont just throw one out, that's fully customizable, and let us create our own boxers. Im sure people can create all the elite boxers of today and roster share it to the rest of us:blessed:

That Fight Night Champion and Prize Fighter career modes are easily the best (single player) boxing modes I've ever played. Both stories are good, but Prize Fighter gets the edge to me:ohlawd:

There currently are no elite SMWs except Ward, and Froch cant beat him at all, so he has to go for the biggest name which is Julio Cesar Chavez Jr and add it to his resume.

I think adding that name to his resume would solidify his HOF position a little more.

from the home of coca-cola, i'm not referring to s
And while Chris Algieri is a B fighter, Keith Thurman isnt a B fighter (so I was told), so no way he can beat The Beast known as Chris Algieri either:mjpls:
Like I told you before.. We don't know what Thurman is.. He looks good in the ring vs bums like Soto Karas and Diaz.. For all we know he is A.... Algieri is a master boxer, who has a win over a B- provodnikov only to be defeated by Fighter of the Decade.. You can draw whatever conclusion you want to from that Breh :smugfavre:

A MASTER boxer?:dahell:

:dead:

Guillermo Rigondeaux, Floyd Mayweather Jr are master boxers. Chris Algieri isnt even on the same level of boxing as JMM who's a great "boxer" as well.

Algieri is a good boxer, but he has a weak chin and no punching power. He's a taller, watered down version of Paulie Malignaggi....without the swag. He's a Coke Zero version of the real thing.

By the way....Master boxers dont get destroyed by anyone:sas2:

Broner, Bradley, Khan, and Thurman all destroy Algieri:ahh:

Algieri is a good world class boxer, but :whoa: on this master boxer shyt. I mean its one thing for cats to shyt on dude undeservedly, but it's just as bad to inflate dude up as well.

I mean we already got Maidana blown up to mythical puncher status, I don't think I could deal with Algieri mythical master boxer status posts in this bytch too.

He's definitely better than fukking Paulie Malinaggi though who has worse defense, and even less punching power. Only thing he has better is a chin. He doesn't turn his punches over and goes straight back which gets him caught with overhand hooks all the time (Cano, Hatton fights for example) He's also never beaten someone of the same caliber of Ruslan either. Ain't no way Chris struggles with Cano like Paulie did.

I think Bradley, Thurman, Broner, and Khan would all be favored over Algieri, but I only see #Thurminator doing what Pac did. Bradley would outpoint him. Khan wouldn't have the height and reach advantage that he normally has so who's to say how good he'd do. Besides, that nikka struggled with Julio Diaz:childplease:.

It's #Bandcamp all day, but Taylor gave Broner more problems than he did Chris who soundly outboxed him for every minute of the fight. Broner/Algieri is a toss up to me.

Algieri doesn't protect his chin from the left/right hook well at all! He's open for that shyt most of the time.
And to think all pac had to do to throw him off his game was inside slip the jab? Where was this technician breh I keep hearing about

Chris Algieri fought Emmanuel Taylor after Taylor hadnt fought in almost a full year (fought in March 2013 and fought Algieri in Feb 2014). That's 11 months of ring rust on him before there fight.

Broner fought Taylor, who was only 1 1/2 months off his previous win against Karim Mayfield, and in Taylor's 3rd fight of 2014. Different scenarios.

Broner makes easy work of Chris Algieri to me. Nobody without power or a chin will ever beat Adrien Broner.
