Ring announcer Ed Derian passes
“Ed Derian, who was my ring announcer and, more importantly, my friend, passed away yesterday,” wrote Hall of Fame promoter J Russell Peltz on his Facebook page. “We began working together in the mid-1970s at a time when the Pennsylvania State Athletic Commission designated who would be the ring announcer at different fight cards. I finally got that preposterous rule changed in the 1980s and Ed became my steady guy from then until about two years ago when his beloved wife Roxy died. Ed was the in-ring voice for all those great Tuesday Night Fights on USA Network from the Blue Horizon…there are so many Ed Derian stories to tell.”
Ain't nothing wrong with that.
I support all Roy Jones love these days, considering everybody through him in the bushes as soon as he got KO'ed
These casuals ain't loyal
i mentioned before but one of the threads i remember the most from sohh was the roy-calzaghe fight thread....that was the fight i think that made a lot of the casuals jump off the bandwagon...there were so many salty nikkas in there posting talmbout black excellence took a L that night all types of shyt..because calzaghe punished roy like he did and toyed with him..leaking from bad cuts and shyt
Khan has bodies on his resume and he did run Bradley bytch ass out the division.........nikkas wouldnt be able to slight the Ghost just cause; like they do now if Guerrero gets thats win....Ahh nah I agree he needs a legit fight I wouldn't call it a step up though. Ghost is already top 10 WW, Amir not so much. I think that year of inactivity really hurt Guerrero, b/c he looked meh at best against the Japanese dude.
Khan/Ghost winner vs Thurman?
