from the home of coca-cola, i'm not referring to s
Victor Ortiz brings all the casuals to the yard, he'd give Thurman that fanbase/popularity increase he's missing.

Haymon is an #OhioPlaya....it's in our blood:sas2:

Alexander and Guerrero can be trouble for Keith Thurman. Ortiz is low risk-high reward compared to those 2:youngsabo:

Yall just enjoy seeing Ortiz get his ass whooped over and over.. I like competitive fights

Victor Ortiz brings all the casuals? :wtf: how?? When??

Thurman needs to get in the ring with a Guerrero or Khan or Devin.. Not no fukking Ortiz.. You fight Ortiz when you're coming off a ugly L and need a tune up fed to you

Ortiz also has a bigger fanbase than both Alexander or Guerrero, so Thurman will be seen by more eyes when he wins.

Again, you ask "how does Ortiz bring the casuals"? Victor Ortiz has fought Floyd Mayweather on PPV, was on Dancing With The Stars, was in the Expendables 3, is in the movie "Southpaw" (with Jake Gyllenhaal, Rachel McAdams, Forest Whitaker, and 50 Cent with Antoine Fuqua directing), and he's been in magazines and commercials as well.

Dude has a casual fanbase and Thurman can TAKE those people and make a name for himself amongst alot of casuals by beating Ortiz.

I dont know how yall cant see that:yeshrug:

You're actually proposing Thurman to take tougher fights against Alexander or Guerrero, instead of taking the lower-risk high reward fight against Victor Ortiz to build his profile up.....and I dont agree at all.

Thurman is missing out on fights because people keep saying he's "unknown". What changes if he beats Alexander? He'd still be unknown to casuals:manny:

your stars are but dust on my shoes
A washed Ortiz is not going to do much for anyone else's career except his own. Collazo fukked that up for everyone.:mjlol:

But thurman is not going to suddenly have a higher profile for knocking off Ortiz, nor is it going to pave the way for bigger fights. At this point, Thurman just got to stay busy and stay looking impressive against anyone he can.

but @Newzz Collazo didnt take those fans :patrice:

would prefer to see Thurman finally get a chance vs a top 10 WW.

hes getting ducked hard in this division

sounds like he sold his soul

Nobody is going to fight Thurman breh...I'd have to see it to believe it. They are scared of him:yeshrug:

Luis Collazo didnt take those fans, but he managed to become an opponent for Khan and wind up on Floyd Mayweather's PPV all because of beating Ortiz:mjpls:

If Collazo can do that, I think Thurman will do much more:manny:
