Algieri is a case of someone whose fighting style isn't conducive to him sitting on his punches which he's going to need to do...he throws a lot of pity pat shyt with nothing on them when you close in on him

anything is possible but unless manny fell off from the from the bradley fight, no way in hell algieri is winning this fight.

everyone talk about the the range/height of algieri which is good, but to me he needs more than that to beat pacquaio. he has good footwork and underrated stamina as well. first and foremost we all know marquez gave pac the most problems over the years due to his beauty of counterpunching. algieri is not a counterpuncher at all. he can turn offense into defense by punching and moving/slipping out the way. but to go from covering up on the ropes or going into a shell like he has a tendency to do (look at the taylor and ruslan fight) to look for an opening and counter he doesn't have that in his arsenal.

to imagine algieri boxing pac ears off for 12 rounds

i think there are some things algieri hasn't seen or been in the ring with. manny is past prime but algieri aint never been in the ring with a southpaw who can punch with speed/explosiveness, and can throw combinations.

ruslan was doing some silly shyt, doing undertaker impressions by just walking algieri down with no head movement, hands down trying to land shots. manny on the other hand, keeps his hands up and brings head movement here and there.
