But people are making judgment based on his last fight. nikkas was reaching when they thought he was unbeatable against canelo.

Also nikkas got to stop taking away credit for what chino did. He made it a hard fight. It was very hard to score. It is what it is.

I never have been guilty of this. I dont like comparing athletes from different eras...particularly boxers who's primes and weight classes didnt match. Floyd's overall peak was probably close to when he fought Gatti. his physical peak was definitely at 130-135.

Robert Guerrero is suing GB and they STILL tried to match him up with Keith Thurman (which he turned down), Amir Khan (which Khan turned down) and he's fighting a Japanese Jobber in July:manny:

Goossen aint doing his job:manny:
Goosen has done his job long enough for Ward, while he ducked fight after fight fukking with Goosen's money and investment

Ward is hiding behind Goosen, he understands HBO wants a GGG or Kovalev or it's bushes for Ward, maybe thats what they want, maybe Goosen is in on this move, but it doesnt change the fact that Ward is a bytch nikka

As far as great fighters who Duran lost to.
I think that Floyd would have beat Esteban De Jesus, beat SRL 2 -1 in the 3 matchups, beat Wilfred Benitez, loss to Marvin Hagler, and loss to Thomas Hearns. Floyd would have went 4-3 in those 7 fights against those prime ATGs imo.

As far as Roberto Duran, I've already told @blackzeus that Floyd is the better fighter and would have beaten EVERYONE that Duran beat. He would've beaten SRL 2-1 (which Duran lost 1-2), beaten Wilfred Benitez, and Esteban De Jesus. I think he would have went 0-2 against Thomas Hearns and Marvin Hagler though because their styles and them being in their primes would've been too much for Floyd.

Man......Hearns was like Punisher on steroids:wow:

I think Floyd could beat SRL and Duran. But Hearns is another story. Their styles are not compatible.

I'm consistent with the point that Thomas Hearns neutralizes all the advantages Floyd has. Hearns was tall, fought tall, hand speed, combination puncher, great jab, athletic, long ass arms, good chin and had one of the GOAT trainers, Emmanuel Steward (rip) in his corner.

Floyd doesnt beat Hearns....Hearns is all wrong for him.

it wasnt. I tell people this all the time. he was stopped 3 times in almost 70 fights. once at his natural weight WW but he didnt go down...he wasnt KOed. the other two times at MW against excellent punchers. that is not what constitutes as glass at all. his chin was pretty good to me.
Who Hearns fought in those 70 fights:sas2:

His chin didnt hold up vs the elites, he got sparked brutally and early, his chin suspect breh

Whether or not Khan can actually beat him is an entirely different subject. .Floyd keeps avoiding him though and I dont understand why

At this point I rather see Floyd fight Porter or Khan this year rather than Maidana again.

I'll admit Khan does pose a different stylistic threat, but I think he's more deserving of that fight now than before. If he stays unbeaten and has no more struggle fights like the one with Diaz I think Floyd should fight him.

One underrated mythical match up people hardly talk about is prime Floyd against prime Quartey. Now that would be a fukking fight. I'd favor Floyd, but he'd have hell trying to take away that damn jab

one of the few fighters i felt that stayed getting jobbed for no reason..best jab i ever saw in my lifetime..when you can KO somebody and break bones in their face with a jab you're a bad mufukka..:salute: bazooka

Just makes me wonder more and more how Mayweather/Khan... Callazo/Maidana fight would've turned out instead
