i said it was feasible..this was a close fight..115-113 was my score for floyd..it would have been crazy though if the fight was stopped by the cut then maidana prolly would have won that shyt on a TD lol

I got it 8-4 as well. Maidana missed like 75% of his punches and got dominated in the later rounds. What he did though was exceptional. Good body work, but he came with the Broner tactic thinking he would get Floyd like that, then he got gassed mid fight. I lost respect for Maidana for cheating though. Maidana tried to fight with faulty gloves then threw low blows and knees.

Nah man. If they even took away points from Maidana for low blowing 3 times and throwing a knee at Floyd, it's a 117-111.

Maidana fought well the early rounds but he was frustrated that he couldn't catch Floyd clean. He was doing ok, but he still high off that AB win. Floyd mid fight adjustment though

@krackdagawd please mention me when you breaking down the fight The way you talk about Floyd adjustments though

Floyd is a master at this. Maidana should not rematch right away. He has crazy buzz now. He should try getting at Canelo or another top name for now. Fighting Floyd again will be Castillo 2. Maidana won't be lucky to get away with those headbutts, lowblows and holding though. He already showed his hands and he did the best he could

after rd 7, it was cruise control for Floyd, but people are not used to see Floyd looking vulnerable at all. Maidana fought well. It doesn't have to be about Floyd all the time

An immediate rematch would get Maidana his biggest pay day of his career so it would be foolish of him to risk that by fighting someone else. Even losing to Floyd again wouldn't do anything to stop him from getting a fight with Canelo.
That being said I don't see Floyd agreeing to a rematch.

Floyd needs to stop with the bullshyt; he had nothing to do with how this fight went. Maidana wouldn't allow him to fight his usual style of fight.
And there is no way that a cut that stopped bleeding halfway through the fight was bleeding enough to blind you for two fukking round.

actually yes it did. I thought it was worse cuz Floyd kept wiping the cut for 2 rds. You're right though. Maidana was coming forward and Floyd was not hurting him. I don't know why Floyd stayed on the ropes though
