ice you only go hard about talking boxing when a Floyd fight is announced or near..and then once a Floyd fight passes you don't say anything about it

It is fair to say that I set aside time for Floyd fights, I catch others on the rebound. I did watch Pacquiao vs Bradley live though as I did Canelo vs Argulo. I love watching boxing and I do catch fights, but live? That's typically just Floyd and other top names. I might be away from the pc to not post on it but fights like Alexander vs Porter, I didn't watch live but I've watched it. By the time I get to it, we've moved on to another fight on this board and others. It's only really interesting, to me anyways, to really comment on a fight while it is in progress. Like I did with the fight on Saturday, I noted that Bradley thought he was Rambo or some shyt. If something comes up to where I can state something, then I will. However, you are right, I do post more when Floyd fights, no denial in stating that.

Jermell Charlo's most impressive fight to me was his fight against Gabriel Rosado.


Julian Williams? His last fight against Freddie Hernandez on Fox Sports 1 (I believe) when he got him up outta there in 3 rounds where other "contemporaries" of his either went the distance with him or finally got the KO in 8. Breadman trains him and because of Bread's knowledge of the game, I started following his boxer and see that Julian has the tools to one day be a very good fighter at 154


Errol Spence is a prospect, he doesnt have any REAL impressive performances yet. He only has 11 fights His most impressive performance was his rumored "ko" of Adrien Broner thus far


Willie Nelson? Cleveland fighter. I rep ALL Cleveland and Ohio fighters, including Mickey Bey Jr. I like Willie Nelson, because he's 6'3 with a 81" reach and fights at 154. He's my new Paul Williams, plus he's Cleveland born and bred. ANOTHER fighter I learned about through reading our local newspaper

Yeah, but how "hard" is it to be a Floyd Mayweather stan? Everyone knows that Floyd is the best boxer today and one of the greatest to ever lace em up......but what's next?


See, that's my problem with the general Floyd stan. They became "fans" because he was the trendy pick, but barely know ANYTHING about boxing outside of Floyd

Not saying you are a casual fan, but most casual fans are Floyd stans.....but cant tell you what titles Floyd currently holds and by what organizations without having to Google it first

At least have another fighter that you know just as much and ride for if you're gonna be a fan of the consensus #1 fighter in the world today. I'd respect a Floyd stan who says that he also likes Demetrius Andrade just as much and that he's the future........but most Floyd stans, and other casuals, dont know who that is. And he's an Olympian and Undefeated Champion


Just my opinion on the whole thing. I just look like whenever someone brings up "you're a fan of Adrien Broner" like that's supposed to be a slight. Yeah I am.


Im also a fan of Ward/Canelo/Rigo/Jermell Charlo/Bryant Jennings/Errol Spence/Julian Williams/Devon Alexander/Shawn Porter/Willie Nelson/JCC Jr. as well, but I dont bring them up as much, because AB is more entertaining for me to watch and my favorite

I was just looking for a place to talk about boxing one day since I was the only one of my friends that followed it. icebergisonfire is my handle there. Floyd was big then, but that is the earliest point recorded to where I can demonstrate that I've been a fan. I would assume that most people here have been fans of his since that point or even earlier. I became a fan when he demolished Angel Manfredy. I've stated time and time again that I live in Northwest Indiana and Angel is from around here. He used to stunt with fine women at the mall and dude was big out here, got his autograph, the whole nine yards. Like he had Next, then Floyd destroyed him with ease. Became a fan on the spot.

They are all young fighters that aint really did anything. The best fighter beat out of that bunch was Rosado by Charlo, but this clown wants me to name their resumes like it's strong and Im gonna be missing something. All of them just started boxing within like the last 5 years
