man i missed one hell of a convo it seems lol
my thoughts
As
@LauderdaleBoss said that Pac-Bradley 2 PPV was not bad at all...the first 2 fights were damned good...wasn't feelin beltran-usmanee all that much mostly because i wanted beltran-martinez more
...more importantly they were evenly matched fights. This was well thought out for once regarding Arum. Because if that card is supposedly garbage than what the hell is floyd-maidana ppv? I haven't seen one good response from anybody thats buying this unfocused ass card outside of stanning. anyone who pays money for that bullshyt is a sucker or somebody who pays for ALL boxing PPVs like
@ChocolateGiddyUp . That I dont hold against him he doesn't fukk with streams lol. If that card turns out anything remotely memorable I'll be the first to admit I'm wrong.
I mentioned my views on why I wasn't feeling JMM-Pac 5 but in terms of their fights
1st fight - clear Pac win which should be official due to the judge not scoring that first round correctly and not a draw
2nd fight - alot closer but the KD however I felt gave the Pac the fight else it would have been a draw to me
3rd fight - I've mentioned this plenty of times but JMM got robbed. I had him winning 115-113 on my card. This is a Pac gift
4th fight - JMM clearly won obviously but he was losing on the cards and was on the verge of being stopped himself. This is the best fight of their series and 2012 FOTY.
I hope to goodness Quillin loses this fight to the Euro cat this weekend. I wouldn't mind having the wbo middleweight title held hostage in europe for a while. Quillin isn't doing shyt with it
JMM and Alvarado are losers of their last fights so I have no problem with them fighting each other. Ruslan is a champ at 140 let him find a 140 cat to fight first.
Bradley is where he is strictly because of controversy not because of his skills or of his own merit. Prior to the first fight with Pac he was most known (casual sense) for stinking out the joint with Devon in one of the worst fights i've seen in my life. Bradley also didnt help matters by going life and death with a cat who was a vet of the ESPN FNF circuit. I remember the posts on here before that fight. No one was anticipating that with Vargas-Omotoso opening. Most of us watched it because boxing in 2013 got off to a rough start with cancellations and postponements and most nikkas needed a boxing fix. But it raised his profile because casuals wanted him to do it again against JMM, which he didn't do. smart idea for him. All these ppl that were for bradley or cheering for bradley on here vs Pac rematch. I didn't see any of that in the thread of the JMM fight. Hell I barely saw anyone talk about it. Gee I wonder why?
All the talk about controversies and conspiracies and shyt. Yes boxing has a seedy side. It's not fukking news to anybody. The problem is when people focus on the shyt more than the actual fights themselves. Especially annoying when I see it done by ppl who harp on that more than talking about their favorite fights or talking about fighters that they are high on or who they support. Incredibly annoying when its done for a fight like Pac-Bradley where its everything under the sun except Pac adjusting and beating that ass when Bradley went all ready 2 rumble and threw his footwork and his boxing in the bushes with his glass legged self.
