Sergio schooled and humiliated JCC not too long ago breh, then Brian Vera did in JCC's comeback fight
Of course but I'm hoping that vs GGG he can go down with a mean body shot or something. He was def humiliated vs Serg but that 12th Rd knockdown is all that's talked about with that fight.

I still don't understand why people hate open scoring so much.

Lemme ask you this: What other sport plays with the team/players not knowing what the score is?

Boxing shouldn't be any different. Fighters should be able to know the scorecards and adjust accordingly. We'd have a lot less incidents of fighters losing because they took rounds off (especially the later rounds) because they thought they had the fight won :yeshrug:

I get your point, but I can't recall the last opened scored fight that went the distance where both guys still fought their ass off or really made an adjustment to takeover.

Besides if the judges aren't objective enough with the scoring you end up with another Canelo/Trout type of fight where one guy knows he's unfairly ahead in points so he coasts a little instead of closing out the show.

With open scoring you'd think you'd get more situations like Marquez/Vasquez 3 where one guy beasts at the end making a comeback to win on some movie dramatic shyt, but most often a nikka is playing keep away while another guy is throwing his gameplan out the window trying to KO this dude who's trying to negate the action.

Bad judging is what really fukks up open scoring so that's pretty much why I don't like it. I don't know about anybody else.
