Monday Night Fights undercard set
In a clash of unbeaten fighters, 2012 U.S. Olympian Errol Spence Jr. (8-0, 7 KOs) will be back in the ring on Monday against fellow undefeated welterweight Emmanuel “Ice Cold” Lartey (16-0, 8 KOs) in the Golden Boy Live! eight-round co-main event on the FOX Sports 1 and FOX Deportes from the BB&T Center in Sunrise, Florida. Unbeaten junior middleweight Jermell “Iron Man” Charlo (21-0, 10 KOs) faces southpaw Jose Angel “Silver Boy” Rodriguez (17-2-1, 2 KOs) as previously announced in the ten round main event.
Also on six-bout card are Spence Jr.’s Olympic teammate Rau’shee Warren (15-0, 3 KOs), who will face Michael Ruiz Jr. (9-3-1, 3 KOs) in an eight-round contest, and undefeated hot prospect Jeffrey Fontanez (12-0, 9 KOs) vs. TBA. Willie Jones (2-0, 1 KO) vs. Jose Angel Segura (2-4-2, 1 KO) and Martin Lagunas Jr. (0-0) vs. Larry Yanez (3-6-2) will complete the action in a pair of welterweight four-rounders.
The event will also feature a special guest appearance by boxing superstar and former world champion Roy Jones Jr.
